  2. I am ok with Green Day getting in. I am not a fan, but they had a huge record in Dookie, another turned into a Broadway show in American Idiot. I suppose they have influenced a bunch of quasi-punk bands as well. I am with worldrecordplayer on Joan Jett - I don't get it. I love that Stevie Ray Vaughan and DT got in, but I am not sure why they got in. Saw him a few times - he could play like nobody's business.
  3. I am still listening to it, still enjoying it, but not wowed by it. I like many songs, love a couple, and skip two or three from time to time. I will say that if this came out in 1986, I'd have cranked up Down From Above (and a few others) in my college dorm room at 1 AM with a pipe a-blazing, much to the chagrin of my fellow dorm-mates.

  9. Now I wonder if Sunloathe will see the light of day during this run.
  10. And I don't think we have had a repeat from last night yet.
  11. Our thread starter instructed us: "Positive Setlist Comments Welcome". I'll keep it as positive as I can - I loved the first two, not so much on #3 and 4. Just a personal preference. Two from (the Album) in the first 5. Interesting!
  12. Hey Greg! It is Tom, and your memory is good - I am in Maine. I was at that free LL Bean show; sorry I missed you there. That is a serious trek for you. My friend Steve (the short, round, hairy dude - that's not a very flattering description, but, hey, he can't read this as he has been banished from VC) went to the 3 shows at the Cap. I am envious of you and all who were there. Steve bought a few SS tickets yesterday. One has my name on it, but I am on the fence for this one. Like life in general, it is complicated - my wife's birthday falls in the middle of SS this summer, one of my daugh
