I wish. I saw them at Maxwell's a long time ago and it was tremendous. And don't forget the show on Friday opening for Sonic Youth.

I think I told this story in another thread but I saw the Pixies in the summer of 1987 before they were signed. It was reportedly the show that Ivo (from 4AD) saw them and signed them right after.

The Feelies opened for REM on the fall 1986 tour. I saw the show at the Felt Forum in NYC.

I think I have told this here before but several years ago I was in a small town on the coast of Maine, wearing my summerteeth-era Wilco shirt.
