I loved the footnotes and agree with E.S. that it was a prompt to look at history for me. I wish I could put a bit more action to words around that but good on Diaz for a little history lesson. How about volunteering at a place that interests you.Most non-profits seek volunteers and many times that leads to meeting someone that can help you. As for online communtication, although I have not yet had to look for a job that way, it still astounds me to come back from two days off and have 4 pages of emails...and I only talk to most of those folks who sent them once or twice a month. I am putting my American Flag pin back on today (right next to my tree hugger pin), then I am going to work right next to a McCain supporter who I am proud to say is my friend.
