I like your tidbits, but don't let it get to your head. Also, why would anyone mention Pi Day, it's not the 31st April yet -
As an outsider I have had a question at the back of my mind for a while. Surely it is the minority of Trump supporters who are actual bigots. There may be a percentage who are dumb enough to be attracted to a 'celebrity' rather than listen/think about actual policies. I have no feel for the percentage of pro-lifers who would vote based upon that issue alone. But, what percentage do you (right minded Americans) think voted for him as a last role of the dice after being ignored and living in difficult times for years. Why wasn't more done during 8 years under Obama? 8 years of a black president

David Bowie - The Last Five Years. Really great insights. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2017/01/07/david-bowie-last-five-years-treat-treatise-musics-departed-genius/ The last moments as described in the article above are priceless.

He also produced that limited edition CD single Shine (I think it was called), written and recorded by "Brian". JT did background vicals and I seem to remember MJ did some keyboards. A long time ago in a land far far away.

Ditto. Years ago I always used to request it but then gave up as it seemed like it would never happen. I like Billy B, but JTs harmonies on the MA version are the highlight of the album for me. Always wanted to hear JT sing the whole song - though maybe that means he doesn't do the harmony part as I would need to hear it He would need John to fill in there.

The Missing Series 2, unrelated to series 1. Dark stuff. Flashback style that you have to bear with for the disjointed first episode, but geting great now. Latest BBC4 scandi-noir Modus starts on Saturday. https://mobile.twitter.com/BBCFOUR/status/794937852345905152/video/1

http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/music/wilco-tour-review-not-a-band-for-the-narrow-of-mind-or-faint-of-heart-a3400761.html One other thought from Saturday that I remembered - it used to be the case that the first couple of songs suffered the distraction of a posse of photographers jumping arounf between the stage and the barrier. For better or worse those days seem long gone. There was a single photographer for a short period. Either Wilco are no longer 'cool' or the proliferation of personal camera phones now has downvalued their services I suppose.

Ah Wilco, it's been a while. In fact I was surprised myself quite how long. Over the past year since tickets went on sale I had pondered on how things might pan out, what with us missing out on a Star Wars tour visit and the hootenanny sessions having been and gone since they last visited London. But, recent shows have demonstrated the groove into which they've settled for the moment (I even did my homework last Saturday watching the stream of the Belgian show from the start of the tour) and I was quite happy anticipating something similar. So, the only speculation revolved around whether in B

Hope they're feeling a bit more perky by the end of the week. A can of blackcurrent tango may help. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=udVPQ3KlMTI -
Bands you saw early on who became big?

U2 for 10p at Exeter Uni Student Union. Half the time thinking Bono was a twat, half the time loving the show. Been about the same ever since. Florence and the Machine - third on bill, just her and a guitarist, with lyrics written on her wrist in biro. Definitely had a presence. Was about 30 people there. The National - Boxer release instore show/party May 2007. They hung around drinking afterwards, which was nice. Saw them couple of days later at a normal venue. -
