Ha! Most U2 plans never happen the way that they say it will. The most recent report from Bono is that they expect a new album out soon (later this year/early next year) and the 2nd U.S. leg next spring followed by everywhere else. I'm guessing another tour announcement in December. If the tour does happen in 2017, it will have been 2 full years since they last played the States which I think is a good thing for the band and the fans. They're still expected to use the same stage, but they'll probably pluck out the Innocence songs and put in the new ones from Songs Of Experience. We'll see if t

It sounds like a remix of one of the upcoming songs from Songs Of Experience, but it could also be a standalone track. It definitely sounds like it's another love song for Bono's wife.

Have you tried it in the the box below Start New Stream? It shows The Band's The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down (last song played before EKG) and Radio Free Current next to On Air Now. My stream did just pause for 5 seconds during Impossible Germany, but I didn't miss anything.

Kurt Vile is on stage now, but is not being broadcast. The radio stream is smooth. I heard R.E.M.'s Fall On Me and a Kurt Vile studio track. DJ just said that they expect Wilco to come out at 7:20 CST (8:20EST). They promised an interview with Jeff Tweedy before Wilco comes out. Great station!

After coming out of Hell Or High Water, I grabbed a piece of paper that was a ticket to an advanced screening of The Comedian with Robert DeNiro, Danny DeVito, & Harvey Keitel. Unfortunately, the demand was huge and I didn't get in. Director Taylor Hackford was there to do a Q & A. DeNiro plays an aging insult comic. It's due sometime in February. I'm upset that I missed it, but I hung around to check out Mike Birbiglia's Don't Think Twice set around the world of improv comedy. I'm assuming that the improv scenes weren't scripted. Hell Or High Water - an extremely entertaining bank robbery/chase film set in Texas. Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham all deliver fine performances. The script was well done and I enjoyed the interplay between Bridges & Birmingham as Texas Rangers. There were a lot of Texan moments that got laughs in a New England art house theater. Nick Cave & Warren Ellis handle music duties. Elvis & Nixon - this film really took off once Michael Shannon's Elvis meets with Kevin Spacey's Richard Nixon. Sorry, I was away on vacation and I totally missed this. I don't recall any mystery. I'm definitely going to rent this again (maybe at a 99 cent rental) and put on the subtitles. Blue Ruin is a great film. I'd love to watch it again. Green Room has a lot of green color and Blue Ruin has a lot of blue color. I found Blue Ruin to be more visually appealing and a lot more visually innovative. The green forest around the club in Green Room was a bit too easy. I wonder what he's up to next. Just Say Goodbye, Shrug & Destroy and If I Ever Was A Child were played according to those keeping track on Facebook. Plus, a fourth one possibly. No setlist anywhere except for SetlistFM which does not know the new song titles. Someone posted a video link, but it's the first 15 minutes. I haven't tried downloading it yet to see if it's the whole show.

Jeff Tweedy was name dropped on episode 5 of Cameron Crowe's Showtime series Roadies. Tweedy was mentioned as singing lead vocal on Miss Begotten for Staton-House Band. This is just the FAKE band that the show is centered around. Lucius also makes an appearance in this episode, after being name dropped at the beginning.

Yay! Someone is talking about the new song that we have and not the album title. I love both songs. Genuis has the lyrics and they're some of the best Tweedy has written. "I hunt for the kind of pain I can take".

Great film. I'd recommend using subtitles because that's my one criticism of the film. Everyone sort of mumbles character names and it's tough to tell who's who. It's extremely violent and claustrophobic. It does take a bit to get going though.

I find it odd that people are surprised that Wilco named an album Star Wars after they had a song called Far, Far Away.

Hmm. Excellent info! I love "quite loud" Wilco. I was wondering if Wilco threw us a few curveballs by releasing Locator & If I Ever Was A Child. I guess if they released a few songs off of Star Wars, you still couldn't tell what the final record would sound like. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the upcoming run of shows.

Nice! I'll be there for the midnight release. As I've said before, that's a great place to go and look at & buy records and they do midnight releases every week. It's also where I got a free white pressing of Sukierae autographed by Jeff & Spencer. My pics are too large to upload, but I'm sure that they're in here somewhere. I'll try from my Mac later.
