  1. Yeah! I'm also happy to have $147.79 in my pocket too!
  2. You can buy If I Ever Was A Child on iTunes right now! Thanks to John C. Link for the tip. Edit: They also have the entire track listing for the new album!
  3. He posted this on July 9th on his FB page and before that it was posted in Oct 2015. Wonder if Wilco picked it out or if it was made for the album? No mention of Wilco anywhere, unless if people have commented.
  4. Who wants to be a good citizen and buy the track for $148.79? Great find! It won't work on my iPhone.
  5. Nice detective work! I wonder if they'll keep rolling out a track per week. Extremely excited for Wednesday to come around.
  6. Bloodline - Season 2: my favorite NetFlix series delivered and did so with quite a few surprises. I won't spoil much, but Ben Mendelsohn showed a different side to Danny. John Leguizamo & Andrea Riseborough brought new energy & characters to the show. Swiss Army Man - I didn't like this film at all. The whole thing felt juvenile & tedious. However, the acting was very good. Stranger Things - I'm 3 episodes in on NetFlix's latest series & it's extremely well done. It's been perfectly described as a cross between Steven Spielberg & Stephen King. I love the synth score an
  7. Has anyone tried to look this up on Gracenote. I'll admit that I didn't pay attention to the listing for Locator on iTunes. I'm extremely excited and I expect this around the time of the 5 Fillmore dates.
  8. I knew that it was exactly a year later without reading the Facebook post. Love this tune. It's longer than I expected. I'll have to make a mix cd just to have this on disc, since my iPod won't play through my car anymore.
  9. This was done awhile ago in one of my meme groups. I love the attention to detail.
  10. Lol! Weird?' Haven't found that post yet. There are a ton of posts on that page. I'm looking. Edit: nothing on the 1st 2 pages.
  11. Is this your post on that movie page? If it isn't, then that's pretty weird!
  12. My nightmare was from a first person perspective of being tortured or surrounded by militia. I now realize that this could be some sort of memory of a past life because I was only 4 years old. This would occur almost nightly for a long time. What throws me for a loop and gets my creative juices flowing is what if this memory hasn't happened yet? What if that's my last image that I see before I die?
  13. Star Wars and the new record should have a heavy presence at Solid Sound 2017, since not a single song has been played at Joe's Field.
  14. Weird!? I was going to say exactly the same thing except for being born in 1978. My 1st grade class saw the Challenger explosion on TV. I think I remember Reagan being shot. I remember having the Oliver North hearings on during my family's July vacation up at the beach. I remember my first memory and have an eerie memory of what caused me nightmares when I was little.
  15. The Neon Demon - Nicholas Winding Refn created a surreal fairy tale & at times nightmare about what it's like to be the "It Girl". Lots of scenes play out where other young women are ignored and Dakota Fanning grabs their attention. The score sounds like Angelo Badalementi taking a crack at Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy soundtrack. The cinematography is amazing and filled with neon colors. It reminded me of a live action Moonbeam City (Comedy Central). I can't recall a time where everyone in the theater looked at the stranger or friend next to them during one of the most uncomfortable scenes. T
  16. Crazy game on MLB Network: Indians & Blue Jays tied at 1 going into the 18th inning. A 2 for 1 game on Canada Day!
  17. Well, I have night 1 & 5 via Roadcase. Lol. I guess I don't know my own collection. The sound & levels are much better/higher than the 930 Club show. I'm listening to the 1st night in my car and it sounds great. I'm in a parked car, btw. So 3, 4, & 6 are audience recordings in my collection.
  18. Official VC Friend, I can say that I bought the Roadcase shows for last year's Solid Sound and was slightly pleased with them. They're never going to sound bombastic like a live recording, but always a little bit too smooth and "dead air"-ish. As you probably recall, the 2nd Chicago show was broadcast on WXRT. And I think that the other 4 shows were recorded by fans & available for download in their typical locations around the net. All of those sounded great and I still listen to them. In no way would I want to "upgrade" to a Roadcase. I might have missed one due to it being on Dime A
  19. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2386221 Stone School Cottage in Lanesborough, MA An old work friend of mine made it out to The National show at Mass MoCa a few weekends ago & I saw that he stayed there. It's very quaint, but a decent looking option. I don't think that there's a thread solely for Solid Sound accommodations, so I'll leave it here.
  20. YES! I've heard that now 2 out of my 4 shows I've seen since 2000.
  21. I checked out this site and found it to be very easy to get around. I didn't see too much audio, but there was a ton of YouTube clips. Can I post 50 words to get access quickly? Thanks! I can't believe that I went to NYC in 2003 for 2 Pearl Jam MSG shows & took the really late bus back home. I'd never do that now. I can't be bothered. Boston didn't get any songs from Pornography. I was bummed. And LA & NYC were treated to very different shows. I wonder if NYCTaper was at any of the shows? I REALLY wanted All I Want. Cheers on Last Dance, Dressing Up and This Twilight Gard
  22. Well, they added House Of Blues shows in Boston and there's only 5 Boston area shows on the list. Duran Duran & Keith Urban are the only shows remaining from the "summer shed" from which there were about a dozen shows yesterday. Haha... I'm seeing a lot more theater & clubs shows today on the list. Irving Plaza, The Foundry & HOB Vegas.
  23. I want to recommend The Family Fang which was based off of a 2011 book. Jason Bateman (who directed) & Nicole Kidman play siblings of performance artist parents (Christopher Walken & Maryann Plunkett) who go missing. Kidman plays an accomplished actress who is asked to go topless for a scene and suffers a mini-meltdown. Bateman plays a novelist who takes freelance journalism jobs. His potato gun story sets the film into motion. We see flashbacks of the parents putting on these "cons" which they consider performance art. And the kids are always a part of it and they refer to them as A &
  24. No issues of Rolling Stone or no issues. Of course it's a Ponzi scheme. Take a look at the map for the venue that I was talking about. Lawn equals GA. It's not even a lawn. It's dirt. You're better off driving in and parking to tailgate with the intention of listening to the show from there, than to be that far back. A decade or so ago, the blue & dark purple section (9-15) used to the part of the lawn. That was a lot better. I still have nightmares of being stuck in their parking lot after Pearl Jam in 2008. I think we didn't move an inch for 3 hours. It's also a huge pain in the ass
  25. I can't believe that they did Bananafishbones last night. I wasn't there, but I was watching Periscope. I'll keep my eyes out for any more torrents from this tour. Another option would be to convert the YouTube vids to MP3.
