  1. Cheating on Tea Leoni is unimaginable!
  2. FYI, this show was filmed and is available out there. Its know as Sunshine Daydream. I highly recommend you track it down.
  3. Yep. It has a nice Easy Wind poster that is now gracing a wall in my garage.
  4. "Hangin' On A Limb" Neil Young on Freedom.
  5. You say that like its a good thing. Since the Wal-mart crowd and soccer moms have stopped wearing those horrible commercially produced dyes, its safe to bust out the tie-dyes again. I wear mine with pride quite often. C'mon, embrace yer inner hippie, man.
  6. Rosemont Horizon is a perfect venue for Neil IF he's playing with Crazy Horse. The crappy sound in that place isnt as noticable when Neil and the Horse are jamming.
  7. Technically yes but I've been seriously questioning the existence of a supreme being over the last year or so.....and I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that there isnt one. So I guess I'm an agnostic on the cusp of being an atheist.
  8. Watched half of 'Doomsday' last nite. I think I'll return for the second half this evening but its not set in stone.
  9. Raised Catholic but I shed that skin before I turned 15. I've been considering atheism for some time now.
  10. Whenever the subject of Freakwater comes up, I think of the Handsome Family and Robby Fulks as well. All three are like the holy trinity of quality country music in Chicago. I used to see them play at Heather and Chris's Record Round-Up way back when......an added bonus was that Cindy PlasterCaster was normally there as well.
  11. Mazzy Star "So tonite that I may see". I loves me some Hope Sandoval!
  12. Indeed it is. BB does rock out though. C'mon, let this one slide thru, eh?
  13. It's been debunked already. The "skunk ape" pictured in the freezer looks exactly like a fullbody costume available commercially. Too bad. I like the idea of a species of hairy man-like creatures living in the woods.
  14. My wife, who loves biking, broke an arm earlier this week in a biking accident. She hit a gravel patch and did an endo, flipping over the handlebars. Thankfully, she was wearing a helmet-which she cracked on impact. My point of sharing this....wear a helmet when biking, please!
  15. Lots of good suggestions here.........dont forget "Full House" by J. Geils Band. Recorded in Detroit in the early 70s, its surprisingly good-high energy, booty-swinging stuff. BB Kings "Live at Cook County Jail" is pretty good too.
  16. I saw one meteor last nite. I got up at 3:45 this morning to find my night sky obscured by clouds and went back to bed.
  17. I agree.....he is a weather nerd of the highest order but he wears it like a badge of honor so it is kinda cool even though his forecasts seem to be consistently wrong. If any industry demands to be regulated, it is the weather forecasting industry. There NEEDS to be repercussions.....serious repercussions for errant forecasts. Dont get me started people.....its a sore spot for me.
  18. The correct answer is Tom Skilling, WGNs weatherman.
  19. After finishing that book, I felt like I needed to shower.
  20. I dont get NBC so I couldnt watch it even if I was inclined to do so.
  21. I didnt make it last nite, was camping all weekend and just didnt have the get-up-n-go. Did anyone check them out? I did see them last November and they were excellent.
