Lambchop, Bonnie "Prince" Billy or M Ward?
Calexico replied to stagerug's topic in Someone Else's Song
I don't know much of Ward but why not start with an album of each and live with them a while before moving onwards and upwards? -
Jesus, this is all over the internets today. Ha ha....did no one see the "larger lady" stripping? Fair play to her though. Three arseholes on the panel and two more twats presenting the show. I hate this shitty kind of show and this one is a barrel scraper.

What you think? I got that too but am undecided about it so far.

What?!? I bet you are not even a true blue Aussie!

What a gorgeous album, reveals more and more with each play. Another fine band that, as Gary Louris said sadly, just fell on deaf ears.
-
And not even a link to decent pr0n either. Not a midget or an animal anywhere to be seen. Feckin' amateur spammers.

"Feesh"...is he Mexican as well?

Do you get a discount if you bring your own sheep?
-
Why would it? Just shows you have good taste. Which you would expect from someone named Jesus, to be honest.

Wilco dudes, search no more. Your album title has arrived.

Correctamundo!

I think it's actually the name of a Godsmack song. Anyway, I checked them out. Kind of pop/metal sort of thing. Inoffensive and a little entertaining actually.

Ever the traditionalist.

I've only seen Jason once, a few months ago, and it was a great show. Very poorly attended which must be a pisser for a band but they just rolled with it and put on a great performance. I am really getting into the new album too.

God, I haven't been to the cinema in ages. Since I left the Navy I reckon, at least 5 years. I used to go all the time depending on where we docked. The nearest one to me is about 15 miles away and I just couldn't be arsed.

And I thought I was f@cked up.

Found this out in the garage, old VHS copy. Still played, even though I had to go back to the garage to find the VCR. Great movie.

I been reading a thing in the paper this morning about a band called Shinedown. The writer seemed to be falling over themselves about the music. Anyone here ever heard them?

No, he had a gig on Studio 60 At The Sunset Strip but he fell out with Aaron Sorkin.
-
What did you think of it? I was quite pleased with it apart from it being obviously unfinished. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool( I presume) was a bit of a non runner though.

I have heard this argument a million times and it still doesn't wash for me. It's all tripe to me. Sorry.

You are just not chatting to the right people.

Well, there we differ cause I love The Cure...most of their stuff anyway.

I imagine that would be difficult to "unlearn" and therefore cause all sorts of social faux pas and ensuing japery.
