  1. Probably dead for a fair portion of it.
  2. You don't have the show and you just need the setlist is it? They are bloody hard to track down I agree.
  3. Well, I meant that it was a great single but after that I kinda lost it with them. The Land Of Confusion stuff and all that malarkey didn't appeal to me at all.
  4. I have been playing Duke and Selling England.. a lot lately at work. Really getting to like the early period stuff and getting to know it better. I still can't take to anything they did after that Mama single though.
  5. Where did they offer them? I am afraid I left Oasis behind a long time ago.
  6. Another band that kinda passed me by. How do these bands ever slip by us? Anyone ever have that happen to them? Where they get into a band long after it seems the whole planet has been loving their work? I just got I Can Hear The Heart...today and am liking what I've heard so far.
  7. I would agree that there isn't a bad album in their output. I mean, they are hardly breaking new ground but all their records are enjoyable as hell. I really like Magic Potion too despite Solace and his hip blog telling me not to.
  8. I can see the similarities between the two artists and as a fan of both, the differences too. For the quieter side I would recommend Ghost Of David which has my favourite Jurado song on it, Medication. For something a little bit more "instrumented" I would possibly recommend I Break Chairs or perhaps his newest one called Caught In The Trees.
  9. I have been on a Smog kick all day.
  10. Ghosts took me a long time to get into, a really long time. I have no idea why that is but I am glad I stuck with it. Sometimes albums just don't ring bells for me but a lot of the time those are the ones that, if you hang in there, are the most rewarding. As for Damien Jurado....OMG, as the little girls say, he is so bloody great. Not a day goes by here without me playing something from his collection.
  11. He must be supporting Michael Jackson at the O2 in London.
  12. I honestly thought that said something about Jermaine Jackson and "Lost".
  13. I'm telling ya, the punching is much more satisfying.
  14. Last two tracks? Be My Girl - Sally and Masoko Tanga?
  15. Sit behind her and punch her in the back of the head from time to time.
  16. Both of those albums and Deserter's Songs were on heavy rotation for me for that year. I was at sea for most of it and those discs got a fair roadtesting.
  17. Why not start at the start, Beautiful Freak, and then as you live with that move onto the others? I agree Electro Shock Blues is bloody awesome.
  18. I am ashamed to say that "Light" completely passed me by. I never even picked it up and I am normally a big fan of Will Oldham. I do have "Beware" and I think that is fantastic. I must rectify this situation fortwith.
  19. Has it done shitty business at the box office? That's a shame, I haven't seen it but it seemed like a valiant effort. Let's face it as well, any appearance of blue dong is too much.
  20. He does and he as often said that you were fiiiine, in a black girl style, sommenting on your internet hotness.
  21. I suppose you could say that about any album with a strong blues base, that it had a samey sounding issue. Or many other performer's songs. Oasis, for example.
  22. Here you go. Ripped with EAC. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J762F3K9
  23. I have this, and to be honest I don't want it. I can upload it tomorrow for you if you like. Heading off here in a minute otherwise I'd do it now.
