you're right. i love the feeling of finding awesome vinyl at flea markets/ thrift shops, etc... of an album you had no intention of buying until you came across it by chance. buying off the net takes that magic away.

have you seen her Elliott Smith book that came out a while back? i've thumbed through it like 15 times at various bookstores but have yet to buy it. the pics in there are fantastic! looking forward to seeing some more of her Wilco shoot.

if you can track down their albums on vinyl, do it! this is sorta an off question, but have any of you experienced any issues when ordering from dead.net? i placed an order for 2 shows, Dick's Picks 8 and the new Road Trips, a week ago and they have not even shipped yet! Digital Ash is a wonderful album as well. it took me slightly longer to get into it due to a country/ folk phase i was going through at the time. have any of you listened to 'I Will Be Grateful for This Day?' that song shoulda made the cut for Digital Ash just like 'Trees Get Wheeled Away' shoulda been on Wide Awake. those are 2 good tunes for sure.
