augurus
I lent my casual friend a copy of Sound Of Silver and he fell asleep and almost crashed. He blames the CD for putting him in a sleepy mood. Sigh.

I'm really into this band, A Fine Frenzy, the lead singer is beautiful with a voice to match. Also, the New Pornographers latests, Challengers, is pretty awesome. Welsh Rich
Is that as bad as the Crackerjack Docker single would suggest? I actually rather like it... it's certainly split reviewers down the middle; those who think it's genius and those who think it's a big pile of steaming poo. There's just something about it that's interesting... sounding like a mix between The Fall, The Wedding Present and some odd school yard chanting...

There's just something about it that's interesting... sounding like a mix between The Fall, The Wedding Present and some odd school yard chanting... I thought it sounded more like Nathan Barley had started a recording career. The music wasn't so bad (if a little unimaginative), but the lyrics are shocking - I'm not too sure whether it would be worse that they were joking or being serious, or both. NP. Welsh Rich
Yeah... the lyrics are kind of stream of conciousness stuff or random word association... As you say, not sure if it's meant to be taken seriously or not!
