If you could take any two Wilco members and put them with any two other musicians...

Eric Heywood is the greatest slide guitarist I have ever seen live (he was touring with Richard Buckner.)

Side Note: Richard Buckner is what Wilco has already become (too soon)...this great unbelievable talent that people wont recognize for years to come, and years from now when it is too late.

But point of thread...

I would love to see

Eric Heywood

Glen Kotche

Jeff Tweedy

Bela Fleck

Bela Fleck would tear out some solos Nels has nightmares about.

Glen Kotche, Beck, Jeff Tweedy, Steven Drozd

Ooh I like Drozd. I think if Jim for some reason doesn't want to do Loose Fur they should get Steve Drozd. I think the three of them would be awesome.

Tweedy

Malkamus

Cale

Kotche

by Cale do you mean J.J.? If so, you just blew my mind. But I can't Malkmus and Tweedy in the same band. Unless someone can regulate Malkmus to just banter and guitar solos that would be fun. But he'd probably still make funny faces at Jeff.
