kimcatch22
My brother's working for the Colts and texted me some pics of the roof opening. Pretty sweet new facility, although the field doesn't have drainage so if they don't get the roof closed before bad weather rolls in, there could be trouble.

mountain bed
Solid game from Da Bears. I was pretty puzzled with the Colt's offensive game plan tonight - I think Jeff Saturday was missed. Usually you'd see Manning make a defense pay for some of those blitzes, but to go long takes an extra second - and not having Saturday back there to help protect made his pass choices a little weak. I think he afraid of getting Brady'd.
So Long
UGGGHH. Brady's down. and out. MRI tomorrow, all signs point to ACL tear, and season-ending implications. FUCK

Including thier "super bowl" season a couple of years ago. Actually having a running game DOES make a difference. Cedric

I think he afraid of getting Brady'd. Not only Saturday but also Clark was out most of the game and that could have also contributed to his performance. We as fans want to believe that these guys can step on the field and turn it on any time they want, but I think it showed that he was rusty. I was a little peeved with the announcers last night. They kept talkign abotu how normally manning makes them pay but tonight he's off while giving very little credit to the Bears defense which I think played pretty well considering who they were playing and how they had played in the pre-season. H-Bomb Henry
Brady down and the Colts suck. Looks like a boring NFL season for me. Bears defense looked great. However half the defensive squad will be on the shelf by the 6th week.

myboyblue
Vince Young may not want to play football anymore. He may be struggling with depression or some other issue... Vibes. The dude has a good deal of promise from a pure talent standpoint. Pretty hard to walk away from a game that pays you millions... ask Ricky Williams. Tribune article i was reading about this earlier this morning on foxsports.com and found the message board under the article to be riddled with "oh poor multimillionaire vince young doesn't like his job..." comments. am i the only one that can completely understand how he feels? he doesn't like what he's doing with his life and it's depressing him. yeah, money is great, but come on, happiness is our ultimate achievement. right??? I don't know too much about the story as of yet but my first impression is that the guy is going through a very tough time. It's easy to say "poor multimillionaire" but it doesn't seem fitting in this case. Ricky Williams is an asshole. Vince Young, to my knowledge, doesn't have any history of being a pampered superstar. I don't feel sorry for him being booed as that is part of the game and fans are obviously why they make a silly amount of money. However, if he's hurting related to depression or anything else, i hope he finds solace. Being wealthy doesn't eliminate all of your problems... just most of 'em :-/

It's almost hard for me to square this story with the ultra-confident, nerves of steel Vince that I watched in Austin.

Stuff like "I want to go home and watch the game on the tee-vee looky-box."
