thejokeexplained
Okay in that case I take back my offer, even though I was offering it to a different person. I know the ONLY way to listen to music is on vinyl records..no CDs, no radio AM, FM, etc), no DVDs, no TV, no iPod, no computer hard drives, no boom boxes, no car CD players, no cassettes, no 8 tracks, nothing else matters....only LPs. LouieB you forgot...
Jesusetc84
I heard a Vinyl rip of "Via Chicago" the other day...I'm seriously considering buying a turntable just so I can have Wilco's albums on vinyl.

tinnitus photography
interesting. i would like to see LP sales figures for indie labels like Matador, Drag City, Relapse, etc.
LouieB
Nothing beats a Recorded Nap/Jules v. Louie B throw down!! Nope, done with that. interesting. i would like to see LP sales figures for indie labels like Matador, Drag City, Relapse, etc.Additionally it would be interesting to see what the reissue houses sell as well. Drag City realistically prices its LP which is very thoughtful. LouieB

I always try to buy a Drag City record from their website.

choo-choo-charlie
My co-workers threw me a farewell party/happy hour last night and presented me with an unexpected, awesome gift: an original pressing of A.M., on the red vinyl and w/o the sleeve, just as it came out on Sire in 1995. I was stunned!

choo-choo-charlie
Now that is a going away present! Did they sign their names all over it? I think the only thing that could have topped it would've been this. My wife was sitting next to me and went off the giddy scale. I just sat there and kept saying "wow" repeatedly. Some people didn't quite understand the significance. ;-)

Any one know how many copy's were released? it's a promo release so i would have thought a bunch.

rockinrob
has anyone compared the original sundazed pressing of YHF to the new RTI pressing? I am wondering if there are any differences. The sundazed one is awesome, but RTI always presses great records. Also, fyi sound exchange on nebraska in tampa has like 5 copies of the vinyl kicking television box set for 49.
LouieB
Music Direct was selling new Wilco albums for $15 at the CHIRP record sale. I think even the new vinyl market is going to see a slow reduction in price as the market gets saturated. Clearly there is not the market for KT that was anticipated.
