jff
Well, that was an absolutely friggin insane and joyous experience. I'm not really into metal, but there's a vibe amongst metal fans (or maybe just Voivod fans....maybe it's the Canada thing) that is very different than anything I've experienced at a concert. And whatever it is, it exists between the band and audience, too. Before they left the stage at the end of their encore they spent several minutes giving handshakes, hugs, high fives, etc to the fans. I've seen musicians do this before (Mike Watt comes to mind), but never anything close to this. Inspiring!

Magnetized
Widespread Panic tonight at a fancy venue in Norfolk (Chrysler Hall, where the symphony and Broadway productions play). This will be my first time seeing them but it seems like an odd choice of venue. We've got great seats, though.
jff
I've never really followed Widespread Panic, aside from seeing them a couple times on the HORDE tour, but Jimmy Herring is surely one of the best guitarists out there.

Lammycat
If you go, tell them it has taken Amazon over a month to get the new cd delivered to me. I think it's only been out a few weeks and no "Prime" benefits.....
Analogman
No excuses - just tell them. And then get me an autographed cd.
