  1. Here is a ESPN link. It looks like the average age is 28 or 29. I can't find a date on the link, though, I am assuming it is currant data.
  2. I thought it was pretty funny.
  3. I have all but the last three. I should have gotten the last 71 one. The 68(2.2) and the 74 (2.3) shows, I think are my favorites. Though I like them all. I kinda like the idea of this Road Trip series, but complete shows are good, too. I got the new DVD yesterday and will be watching it tonight.
  4. I am listening to a show from 11.9.96 - Great recording with a version of Dreams with Haynes sitting in. He sings the last verse, too. It about 17 minutes or so long. While searching around Bt-Etree I came across this: I wonder if any of the Crowes sat in with Wilco. Bt. link
  5. I haven't seen them since 94. They are playing at the Chicago Theatre this time around. Definitely will try to catch this, though I have said this for the last 2 or 3 times the passed through town.
  6. I not too happy about the hiatus. I was just getting back into the Black Crowes.
  7. I will check it out. I did a google search with Cocker and Seven days and this youtube clip from ARMS Concert. Wood's solo and this version is great.
  8. Was just listening to Ron Woods's Anthology - The Seven Days from Dylan's 30th is on it, fantastic version with the Booker and the MG's. I haven't watched the 30th Anv. is a long time. I also remember that the PBS station in Carbondale played it a lot, which I was grateful for.
  9. GQ Interview with Jagger and Richard regarding Exile. Nice read. Below is from photopraphs link in the article.
  10. I 2nd The Brief, Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Diaz. Wonderful Book.
  11. Yep, definitely great. Thanks for the link. It looks like they are going to bypass Chicago in June, but they will be at Lollapalooza in August...I wonder if this is part of the insane Lollapalooza deal that bands (all not just the big ones) can't play around Chicago before or after their Lollapalooza performance unless the organizers "allow" it. A whole month in half seems extreme, though. It would be nice to see these guys at a club.
  12. They're (XM) are playing the 9/10/91 show now. I had this on cassette, but I haven't heard this in a while. It does sound great. I don't know why I never downloaded the matrix before.
  13. I wish they were showing it in the Chicago area - would love to see it at a theater.
  14. Grape Jam is still on their page, too. Actually Jam and WOW are $59.98. Maybe the deal was sell the ones you have in stock at an enormous price so all the lawyers/companies can get their cut. Who knows. Anyway buying the new live release and the new 89 Dead release from Amazon (my apologies to Dead.net).
  15. Yeah, even on the Sundazed site, WOW is $50. WOW indeed. The first one is sold out on the site.
  16. Thanks, all. Might as start with the new live one, since the first is OOP. Thanks A-Man for the below bit of info:
  17. I don't know much about Moby Grape. I am thinking of ordering next week's Moby Grape Live release. Any thoughts if this would be a good starting point with the Moby Grape catalog? Thanks.
  18. Man, when you find your niche or "audience" you can really haul in the cash: ABC link I like that they put a picture of her with the writing on her hand.
  19. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the Chicago dates. Kinda wish the Chicago dates were a bit later in the tour, though. There may be a few "kinks" to work out.
  20. Thanks for the great review Augustus Westerberg.
  21. Here is a rather long article from The Times-Picayune regarding Chilton's life in New Orleans.
