True. I wonder what the liner notes say, I don't have them handy.
-
They may have got their information from wiki, the below is on the wiki page.

That was a message to Jim DeRogatis - I have listened to that a few times for laughs. God - seriously, it doesn't get any better than that. I don't know crap about Adams - but, I am a huge fan Neal Casal and I guess he was in the Cardinals. No wonder he is able to put up with Chris Robinson - Chris must seem like a saint compared to Adams.

The Stones have wore their logo quite a bit over the years, esp. Mick. Charlie got in the action, too. Though, when you have a such an iconic logo/symbol you may as well display it. I don't think the rhinestone tank that Charlie is sporting was ever sold at the front of the house. Mick wore the same designed shirt that I bought in 89 while on stage.

That's cool. At breakfast at a Perkins in Fargo, once ---- it was horrible...

Listening to 2/14/69 -- not sure if I have listened to this show before - usually go to the 2/14/68 or 2/14/70 shows for Valentine's Day. Did Bear ever remember to turn on/up the monitors - 'god love 'em.' song 2: Gd69-02-14T02 LadiesAndGentlemenThatsBear.flac

2 episodes into Russian Doll - it is a hoot.

I think the biggest indoor venue I saw them play was the two UIC Pavilion shows in Chicago, 2009 --- it was a bit weird. I was on the floor, so it sounded ok, but it was weird being in an arena seeing them perform -- it was even more weird seeing Tortoise, who opened, play in arena. I think they played arena venues at various points -- that NYE gig at Madison Square Garden springs to mind. I don't foresee any line up change -- which is both good and bad.

Finally gotten around to watch that "Abducted in Plain Sight" doc - the person who irked me the most was the brother of that B dude -- he was just so flippant in the whole thing. I can't say I would protect any my siblings in the same way.

Yeah, it is bit depressing how much records are going for now-a-days - esp. new ones. $400 for Lawn Boy made for a great return for you! I bought many of mine at flea markets in the 80's. It was always a tough decision for me if I was gonna spend my money on baseball cards or records. Happy to say, after bringing them all from my p's house to my house recently - they all still play well, so far.

Just went to the Reverb site and noticed that I can buy records form The Official Jay Farrar Of Son Volt Reverb LP Shop ---- I read that he was unloaded some instruments/recording equipment, but didn't hear about records.
-
Never really thought of Ebay - must admit I never purchased anything from there.

Anybody care to share which websites are best for buying used records. I know of discogs --- but it seems many of the sellers are in Europe - which is fine, but I don't really don't want to deal with higher shipping costs all the time. Thx.

Yeah he did. Seeing him smile while on stage was always something special, too. I guess that goes for anyone performing --- seeing a person happy or seeing a some type of nod after a great solo or something is what makes seeing shows worth while. Every now and then Dylan lets out a look or smile after something and it's a treat. Tweedy is another one who when you watch makes an expression of 'hey that was pretty great'.

I started to read this thinking you were going to write the lady passed away...

Perhaps, since Dead Set was an intro to my Dead listening when I was a kid - I have always be fond of Minglewood. Always enjoyed the 'I was born in a desert, Raised in a loin's den' line.

The bong thread regarding She's a Jar in the Just a Fan forum - yet another poor attempt of humor on my part, though I do find think the thread is an amusing bit. I am not feeling a Blackhawk playoff run, which is a bummer - also, Lammy is right - the Hawks are still bottom feeders.
-
That sucks. The bong thread seems to be getting some legs -- so at least that might give you some laughs.

Yesterday, Kopech threw for 1st time since his surgery --woo-hoo--- still slated for a 2020 Spring Training, though. Go White Sox!

Who is playing in Crazy Horse -- is Sampedro still out and Nils in? Also I guess they are trying to webcast tonight's show - guess they ran into issues last night with the feed.

Did you tweet your sunburn to the president, thus confirming global warming? Now, I am picturing Van laying out by the pool in a speedo.
-
Of course we have been without power since 4 am. Will be hot wiring the furnace with a generator, soon.
-
Yeah -- someone should send the article to the president, at the very least it may help him spell warming...

Same here, luckily the university my wife works at is also closed - so we don't have to worry about a sitter and such.

I remember tetherball getting pretty tense - so much so that my grade school took it down. The pole just stood for couple of years, until they finally took it down and replaced it with another slide or swing.
