Jeez - hopefully the dude is just alone in the house.

They have been tweeting Wilco/Tweedy stuff as of late, though. I just briefly looked through their feed and it looks like they mainly tweet about their clients. Perhaps the main page has not been updated, yet.

I think someone on this board said that Mick Fleetwood had a hidden drummer, too. I seem to remember reading about Priest developing some drum device to enhance the sound their live drum sound. I could be completely wrong, though The drums did sound pretty great this summer - definitely one of the highlights of their sound that night.

Their announcements of tours has always been a hoot - going back to 75 and the flat bed truck going down Fifth Avenue. Guessing they will play Soldier Field this time around - since they have been doing a lot of advertising via the NFL. (Would be great if they do a gig at the Opera House, though)

I guess some of the older singers are thinking since the younger ones are being helped on stage, why not them. But I agree - not a fan of backing tracks or enhancements of voices. At the end of the day, I am guessing you and I are probably in the minority in our thoughts on 'onstage singing', though.
-
Yeah - Halford was definitely being "helped" this summer.
-
That makes sense -- he was all over the stage this past summer -- he would leave the stage during a solo or something and start singing off stage at times -- he sounded great, though. Also my friends saw that Ozzy/Crue tour -- my mom would let me go, though...

I am kicking around the idea of seeing them again, too.
-
At least it was unique...I have a a few boots and listen to them from time to time. Too bad Ward was not on the Born Again tour.

Will be picking it up from my library today - looking forward to reading it.

Put it in Wilco seen while doing a deep clean of the house --- I got the magnet as I walked into the park. A fun show.
-
Well they kinda are still going on....at least in Florida and in other places.

Was it a Kansas video back in the beginning of MTV where the guitarist was wearing a hockey jersey - I think it was a St. Louis Blues jersey? Ever since I caught a bit of Rather's Big Interview with Kansas a few days ago, which was bit interesting, I have been racking my brain. It may have been a Triumph video... and man I do hate Dust in the Wind...

I always thought the cover was cool, too.

She's a bit older now, but she busted some ribs in 2012. She'll throw some duct tape around her torso and get back right in there. She will be 91 at the end of the possible Trump 2nd term. I can see her going for the record.

Well it could have went better, but I will settle with the House. Nice to see some D Governor's winning, especially in Kansas - bummer about Florida and Georgia, though. Really wish Cruz would have lost Texas, too. Locally, the D's are now in complete control of IL - hopefully they start fixing some stuff, smartly.

Yeah - SNL had a great bit this past weekend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdNNjCHGixE

From Lammy It was good - glad I went. Definitely would have been a bit better with a lead player (Either another guitar or piano), but weir was in great voice and his playing was great, for the most part. Don Was was solid on bass, too. Was able to get a great seat, so it was nice to watch Was up close. Oddly enough I Need a Miracle and Josephine were highlights for me. It was also nice to hear the tunes from Weir's Blue Mountain record. Lastly Lane is a trip to watch play - stoned to the gills, it appeared. Festive crowd.

Yeah --- of course they could have fixed it on the millions of reprints, but failed to do so. Glad that they got their due in the box set. Of course, I think all the takes in this box set are from the New York sessions, because the Minneapolis sessions are lost/missing.

Going to Chicago....what to do, see, stay, etc.

Ditka's on Chestnut has a great burger - if you like burgers - they are suppose to have a great pork chop, but I have never had it. There are a bunch of steak house near the Drake, too. If you are into great church architecture, Holy Name Cathedral is a 10 minute walk or so from the Drake. The Museum Of Contemporary Art Chicago is minutes away from the Drake, too. Not nearly as big as the Art Institute, but the typically have some cool exhibits going on. -
This book stressed how the Minnesota musicians never got official credit --- I guess they finally will get their due with the new box set - which is great. My set should in my mail box, tomorrow - looking forward to it. http://www.startribune.com/minnesotans-finally-get-credit-for-playing-on-bob-dylan-s-1975-classic-blood-on-the-tracks/499161281/ http://www.startribune.com/meet-the-minnesota-musicians-who-helped-make-bob-dylan-s-blood-on-the-tracks/499161371/

Bob Weir And Wolf Bros.

I caught two --- they happen to be my two favorite shows that I attended. The 89 show was my 1st - I am not sure if I was real familiar with the tune that much in 89, but remember it being a highlight while there - Weir was great.

So far Looks Like Rain is a stand out on Disc 1of the latest Dave's Pick - 6.17.76. Garcia really shines on it. Cassidy was great, too.

Happy for Sale.
