Since Trump has sued or at least threaten to sue every person that he has come in contact with - I am assuming the publisher has done their due diligence knowing that this was going to happen - Henry Holt & Company has been around forever.

Listening through the latest New Year's run - 28th sounding pretty good, esp. the 2nd Set. Now on the 29th - really enjoy I Always Wanted It This Way - guess it's a Page tune - I think I listened to the Big Boat record once - but not familiar enough at all with any of the tunes. No Men In No Man's Land (another Big Boat tune, I guess ) was highlight on night 1, too ---- it's nice that they are still writing some interesting tunes.

It's a little late for Melania to take Wolff out, though. But, I am guessing Melania is fine with book coming out -- bet she can't wait to get out of the White House.

Checked out the below from my library -- nice book. Narrative was a bit lacking. Kirk didn't hold back though. He had few shots of members of the Crowes jamming in the studio with members of ABB - he didn't have nice things to say about the sessions - music wise. He also wrote that George Thorogood can't jam. Apparently Zakk Wylde was they only guitarist who could fly out to the show on such short notice and that it was horrible. Some of the cooler pictures are after from after hour jams at various clubs after show or on a off day.

Haven't seen it yet - but I guess there is documentary out regarding Grant's LSD sessions - North By Northwest came out during the period of time he was using LSD. Never knew that he used LSD, before I read about the doc. Regarding psychedelics - I have been enjoying the Hamilton's Pharmacopeia show on Vice --- I ordered Sling to watch the MLB playoffs - but haven't gotten to cancel it yet.

Guessing it has to be one of their best selling records, so maybe they are just proud of it. Can't see the record company making them doing all this pub. - but who knows. Not to mention, in this political climate - it is a great platform to get their views out and sell records at the same time. That Buck interview that someone posted was a real great one. Buck is an interesting dude.

Yeah -- I caught it, thought it was great. It's nice to hear from Mills -- it seems like Stipe can take the air out of the room - in a good way - but Rather did a nice job with keeping Mills in the loop. My wife was happy that beard was gone and my son kept asking what's that thing hanging from his nose... I am ready for a reunion - what the hell.

That Deer Creek show was the first time I saw Derek Trucks play - it was his 6th (full) show - I remember thinking his playing seemed tentative.

Went into a Barnes and Noble today for the 1st time in 8000 years and surprised at all the vinyl - man the prices are steep. Fun to look through the records, though. Also got to talk to Otis Wilson (former Bears linebacker) Otis: Hey, how are you're doing (as he walked by me) Me: Good - Hey Otis. First time I got to talk to a 85 Bear - he happen to be doing an in-store book signing.

Lammy is gonna walk in with the wrong kind of point ears on. Probably will see it this Sunday morning -- its nice being a heathen, our go to movie going day/time is Sunday mornings, typically the 1st showtimes starts around 9:30am or 9:45am - it's cheaper and no crowds.

Tried for single for one of the shows in Chicago and nothing -- crazy. Maybe it is because Phil couldn't sell out the Riv either of the nights last month - but I didn't think it would be such a huge draw - definitely was wrong about that. (Or everybody really just wants to see Weir) I don't the remember the last time I got shut out of a show when I got on the TM site at 10am. Guessing they will do a webcast.

I signed up for it, but I got email earlier stating that I was put on a wait-list. Honestly, I didn't think the demand would be that high - I guess it is good for the two that it is. Onto 12/14/80 - another decent show. Great Loser - the drums/space has been great during this run, too -----.Drums/Space with Airto Moriera and Flora Purim - really cool stuff.
