If you play "Various Stages" over and over, it would be an awesome show!
-
"All that you can't leave behind" is in my top 3 -- primarily because of the lyrics, tbh. Walk On and Beautiful Day are in my top 10 of their songs. Not that I have actually force ranked their albums or picked a top 10 -- just if I did

They will get an invite to play the White House after all this BS is over with.

This is why, at 38K feet when the turbulence really sucks and I am truly beginning to freak out, that I stop and remember that the odds are high that my pilot once landed safely on an aircraft carrier bobbing in heavy water in the dark. Kudos to him and everyone aboard for remaining calm!

Can you rank the Wilco records in chronological order? (just joking -- welcome)
-
You could last year. 5 shiny new $20 bills went under the window and a ticket came out!

I was a fan of the mid 60s Jergens commercials "how would you like to shake hands with a lobster?" and a lobster would be shown poking out of a sleeve. Same with hair brushes etc. And the ubiquitous "hey Mikey" Life cereal commercial.

Maybe if you buy tix for both shows you get a discount? Though I wouldn't bet on it.

Has anyone informed Matt1036 of this news????

What's some of your favorite road trips you have been on?

I used to hitchhike routinely to and from school when I was in my teens - usually with other girls. I never had anything bad happen to me, though there was this one driver that we called "the perv" who would put his hand on the knee of whoever was unlucky enough to sit in the front seat with him. We would do just about anything to not be the one left out that would have to get into the front -
GM has made maybe 25 of them -- it was in auto news today. What do we need GM for

Two very memorable Team Estrogen trips to the hinterlands of KS, AR and MO Plus a couple of road trips in France with my mom riding shotgun. Those were wonderful. -
Earlier this week I DLed basically the entire back catalog of Jethro Tull, and listened to Thick as a Brick in its entirety yesterday. It was even better than I remembered; likely because my audio equipment is waaaaay better than it was in 1976

I believe Big Ray said that (at least) one of us women needed to be kicked in the ovaries Happy birthday Big Ray!

Thanks everyone I had a fab day -- nowhere near a computer for once! Got my hair cut and then went to a terrific restaurant with Scott, my sis and BIL Jim. If you are a vegetarian in Chicago, you need to go to the Green Zebra. Even if you aren't, you need to go. And Miss Chris: Fingers crossed for a road trip this year!

Damn. Good luck.

Goddamn -- just when you thought you couldn't stand one more second of GWB, you have to

Regarding the appearance of "ashes", since they didn't play it on the nights they were filming, they can use audio recorded elsewhere over credits or incidental portions of video if they wanted to. If I recall, the version at the residency was terrific; I was sad they only played it once.

After walking around for the last three hours saying "the Bears just SUCK", they win. Booya.
