Aeropress is the correct answer. Like a French press but with a paper filter. Love mine and it was about $25 from Amazon.

Maybe they realize it's not a fan favorite. Wilco has made very savvy business decisions throughout their career. I can't imagine there's just one LP in their Nonesuch catalog has different legal standing than the others.

I'll be over in a bit.

We saw the acoustic group last May. Kunkel is indeed fantastic. Check his credits on allmusic.com. Impressive resume. I think bringing some younger musicians aboard (not necessarily Kunkel) has re-energized Lovett. It seems like maybe his best songwriting days may be behind him, but his performing is going through a Renaissance.

Nope. Pipe dream.

On Fallon which I'm sure many of you know, but so is KEEF! Will he play with the band? That might melt my soul.

I tend to agree with this, but I worry that by the time it becomes clear that "boots on the ground" are needed, it might be too late and have cost more American lives or serious damages to our interests (homeland terror strike, use or seizure of WMDs, etc.). Like you, I'm no military expert, so I am going to hope and pray that the experts know what they are doing and persuade our leadership to take the actions that will keep us safe. It' a huge leap of faith.

I guess I wouldn't have enough interest to make demands of people I agree with. I think I'd tend to post facts or arguments myself in reply to something I agreed with if it seemed lacking. My big question about ISIS are they really interested in building a "state"? If so, are they much of a threat for terror attacks here? There have been some menacing tweets in support of Isis with the White House or Chicago skyline in the background. That's disconcerting, but it could very well have no muscle behind it. Russia's another story. I heard about a cease fire last night. I hope it holds, b

Here's an interesting idea for you when making an argumen: Provide facts or sound reason. People might actually take you seriously.

I was busily typing a reply, but Hixter said all I wanted to and much, much more.

There are people who still buy the "Now That's What I Call Music" series. Greatest Hits are still as viable. If completist fans feel compelled to buy because they can't have a gap in their CD collection, then that's their problem. If they throw one or two new things on it to try to hook you in, well that's where iTunes, Spotify, etc. come into play.

I'm glad to see this post before I clicked on it and became irate.

This is the correct view on this. If you're on a Wilco message board, a Best Of collection isn't for you. Why would it bother you that it's being released to bring new fans into the fold. There were countless classic rock artists I discovered through their Greatest Hits and often waited years before exploring their other stuff. As for the shows, I would love to celebrate Wilco's 20 anniversary with them on my 20th wedding anniversary at the Ryman on 10/22. Unfortunately, lack of funds and wife's interest in Wilco make this very unlikely.

In reading up about Neil Young and his life, family, etc., I never realized he has epilepsy. My 9 year old son does as well. I shared that with him.

Legitimate LOL

Really? This is far from hip or cliquey.

They raised a son with cerebral palsey. Even with all the help their wealth can provide that had to put an enormous amount of stress on their marriage, and though that son is an adult now, I have no doubt that kind of stress leave scars that are hard to heal. I am sorry to hear this and wish them both well.

It's got some great music. Inglorious Basterds was a good reminder of how great Cat People is. Never Let Me Down (1987), however, is a steaming pile of shite exceeded in shittiness only by the Glass Spider Tour that supported that LP.

5 seconds in the shower would fill up most buckets. If you live in AZ, CA, etc., don't waste water (oops, I challenged my buddy in Tempe), but the impact of the lost water is negligible at best.

Bowie was my portal into underground music. It's been really fun to read through this and recollect my affection for so much of his music. I also learned that he produced a Lulu cover of "Man Who Sold the World". You can find it on Spotify. The author is really unkind to Bowie's commercial -- and often crappy -- 80s output. It's important to remember that much of that crap sucked in a bunch of teenagers like me who went back and got into VU, Stooges, Eno, etc.

I agreed with this in principle until I saw the number of dollars ALS was collecting this year versus previous years. It's a social media age and it seems to work.
