    Yes, Live at Leeds, the live recording of all live recordings Pink Floyd - Ummagumma live disc Richard Thompson - Small Town Romance, The Chrono Show, 1000 years of Popular Music Nirvana - Unplugged - the definitive album of that series Soul Asylum - After the Flood - full of rare tunes, early versions of later studio cuts, and covers. Guess I'd have to give a vote to Pearl Jam - Live on Two Legs, as not counting the 875 shows they've released it is their only proper live "album" (oh, I guess they did two, but Live on Ten Legs looks awful).

    That is an awesome setlist, thanks for the tip. My favorite JT solo shows are from the February-March 2001 tour. His guitar sounds especially warm, heavy and resonant on those tapes consistently and regardless of taper/venue. Of course I am partial to the Irving Plaza show. Not only was I there, it was my first time seeing him solo, first time hearing the songs that would become YHF (outside of a couple songs that Wilco debuted in 2000), and remains my favorite setlist of all the times I've seen him solo. It was also my introduction to Ben Kweller who opened up.

    Jay Bennett fan here, thanks for pointing this out. Other than shows I've been to, or looking at setlists with rare tunes, I don't often blindly delve into the audio archive, so it's nice to have a specific recommendation. -Rob

    Impossible Germany = noodling for the sake of noodling. Not a huge fan of this tune and the Nels jam, but when the show starts, I get into even the songs I don't normally listen to on the CDs. No piss breaks. I like Handshake Drugs and the outtro noise, but wish they'd get rid of the electronic noise in Via Chicago. It's painful and I've never understood why it gets such big cheers from the audience. I actually like the Impossible Germany lyrics on their own. At times abstract, at times direct.     Yes. This is his best album in a long time, outside of the Soul Savers. I wasn't into Bubblegum at all, but Blues Funeral has gotten me into it.

    RNDM - Acts (Joseph Arthur, Jeff Ament, Richard Stuverud) and the Travoltas (Salim Nourallah's band) self-titled album have recently shot to the top of my list. I'd probably include the Spring Standards up there but I don't have the album yet - been playing some good new live stuff by them though.

    Well the Grounds Crew jacket is super awesome.. Too bad for me I've already got one of those jackets for Rickwood Field (Birmingham) as well as a plain one straight from Dickies.Can't really justify another coat at the moment, and not at 95 bucks. These jackets are super comfortable though and they take a beating and hold up well.. Now if Wilco can get EFF to make a real baseball cap, then I'm in.

    Bummed out too, though not terribly surprised. Not surrpised there isn't much love for them on this board either. SA have been flying under everyone's radars the last decade or so, but they have been productive - playing 25-30 shows a year, and introducing new tunes to the setlist even though album releases were few and far between. The Silver Lining (2006) was great. This year's album Delayed Reaction was so-so, 3 great tunes, some old nuggets, and a few I could do without. I guess Dan felt he'd accomplished all he could with them after 30 years. In a one month span this summer I saw Wilco

    This, among other things, has created huge furor in the online Pearl Jam community (but not , seemingly, among the Pearl-Jam-fans-who-were-at-the-actual-show community). Seems the desktop jockeys have let it slide that Pearl Jam have been saying "bitch" on stage since at least 1994 ("Satan's Bed," anyone?).

    +1 for more Sunday Morning! It's one of those songs that even though it is long it doesn't feel long or tiring to me. Impossible Germany on the other hand, I could do with less noodling.

    Via Chicago opener was pretty common in the late 1990s, or at least on the 1999 tour. Not so much these days. Make me nostalgic for my first show....

    Thanks a lot for posting this. James Alley Blues would be great to hear again indeed. That guy picking his ear while he introduced the band creeped me out.

    Mainly just on that song. The noise on Via Chicago kills the song for me. It's painful. I'd rather not hear them play it at all if that's how they will do it from here on in. The drone on Less Than You Think, the nosie at the end of Handshake Drugs, etc, I'm fine with that stuff, but not this.

    I can't stand the noise on Via Chicago live. The versions from 2004 ish are nice, thinking of Radio City/live album era. I don't think they did the noise then.

    I would like something a little more substantial out of a ballcap. Not necessarily a 5950, but maybe something in-between that and what they sold. Guess I could always buy a Washington Nationals / Senators or Winnpeg Whips hat and pretend the W stands for Wilco. I restrained myself this tour and only bought the key chain tag. I vote for more of the little, inexpensive, goodies.
