can anyone help me put Firefox 2.0 back on my computer
lamradio replied to embiggen's topic in Speakers Speaking In Code
Have you tried to remove 3.0 yet in Programs and Features? Once you get it removed, you can download 2.0 here: http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.htm -
It has to rank high on the list of dumbest threads evah..

I'm there.. Ready for a strange and wonderful night of music.

I feel the same way.. There are a couple songs on that album that are the best songs they have written, but there are also a few clunkers that seem like they were written half-assed. And that picture right above this post is freakin ridiculous.

Taking an extended sabbatical from the board
lamradio replied to Sweet Papa Crimbo's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Yeah, I think it's stupid for people to quit the board. I mean, if you find that you are addicted and your spending too much time here, then just cut back some! I mean, if I'm too busy for the board, then I just don't come here.. But when I have the extra time (like right now), then I post away.. It's simple really.. You don't have to quit cold turkey like an alcoholic or something. -
I've always wondered if those things worked worth a damn. I almost bought one once, but I thought it was too good to be true. Does it do a good job?

Yeah, I watch it all the time on Comedy Central, but I've seen every episode 100 times. They'll probably see how well these DVD's sell, and that will determine if they will write new episodes (just like they did with Family Guy)

I've still never seen Jeff play solo. I know he's done some solo show's down South in the past, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Awesome. Benders Big Score is great. I really hope they bring back the series, and not just the movies.

Best Thing To Happen To You While Wearing a Wilco Shirt?
lamradio replied to SarahC's topic in Just A Fan
Great, funny, story. -
Yeah, I actually think it qualified as one of the great feuds in VC history (it went on for like two weeks straight). When I first found out about the cancellation, it felt like a smack in the face by a 2x4, but then I started to understand where Wilco was coming from, and I forgave them.. But still, they better make it up to us somehow at the show in August.

Thanks everyone. You guys are the best. I did booze it up some indeed (had a few friends over, drank some white russians). The best part though was my wife and kids threw me a surprise party, even though my 4 year old kind of spoiled it. When my wife called me earlier in the day, he got on the phone and told me all about the party.

This really is for Watch Me Fall: When the farmer arrives in Hell its 95 F with 90% humidity, but Satan notices he's kicked back on the brimstone relaxing comfortably. He asks, "Why aren't you miserable like everyone else here?" The farmer replies, "Oh, this is like a warm spring day in Columbia. I like it." Angry, Satan turns up the thermostat until its 100 F and 95% humidity. Still, the farmer's happy. "This is like a good June day on the farm. Not bad at all." Furious, Satan turns it up to 105 F and 99% h

The Push Stars - Keg On My Coffin. Most of you probably haven't heard it, but if you have a moment to spare, read the lyrics: Put the keg on my coffin And think of me every so often Have a losers day parade for all my friends Drink up life like a river 'til the pizza man delivers And smile and know I loved you 'til the end "Here's what you do when my time comes to pass," Charlie told me through the reflection in his glass. "Don't waste time praying "'cause I'm never coming back "Just throw a party in my name." Put the keg on my coffin And think of me every so often Have a losers day par

Happy birthday.

If you haven't heard this record, you must give it a listen. Definitely one of the best albums of 2007.

Well, the Charleston show has had plenty of time to get requests since it's been scheduled since December, so the setlist should be grand. It'll make my night if they play my request "Far Far Away". Still wondering what they are going to do to 'make it up to us' for the re-schedule.

I've still yet to see them live. I still kick myself in the ass that I missed them at The Music Farm in Charleston (small venue - 500 people or so).

Performing live on some British show. So much emotion in his voice. Great performance Also, I'm not the biggest supporter of pitchfork because I think some of their reviews have been WAY off, but they sure did give "For Emma, Forever ago" a great review http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/reco...mma-forever-ago
