When I saw them perform The Soft Bulletin, at the start of the show when they kicked in to "Race for the Prize" and all of the confetti and balloons were flying everywhere, I swear I saw the face of God..

53 Gadhafi loyalists found dead in a hotel. Many of them killed execution style.. http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/24/world/africa/libya-main/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Ummm... These rebels are looking more and more like they aren't any worse than the Gadhafi regime was...

Actually in an interview I saw, he claimed that he doesn't take drugs.. He say's that he's weird enough without them. Say's they make him paranoid. But again, that's what he claims..

Flaming Lips are one of the greatest bands around. They are the modern day Pink Floyd and in some ways better than Floyd ever was. I had the privilege of seeing the Soft Bulletin performed in it's entirety in Atlanta earlier this year. Embryonic is probably my favorite record, although Soft Bulletin is a masterpiece.

Indeed it is.. Indeed it is.

Excited about this, but it doesn't give much info. Tracklist? Will 7" be the only format? I guess it's time I finally join the rest of the world and get a record player.

I hope when Gadhafi got to hell, he found himself tied to a chair next to Osama Bin Laden in front of these two guys:

Botox or not, who wouldn't Bang this Bangle: -
Bon Ivor - Bon Iver didn't really last long for me. Strange because I REALLY liked the album when I first heard it. I think he should stick with the dark, scaled back, folky sound (Skinny Love, Flume, Blood Bank etc.) that worked so well for him. Just my 2 cents though..

If that's a reference to Office Space, then

Yeah I think someone once said that ranking the Wilco albums is like ranking your children. Edit: excluding WTA of course...

Aww but you are missing out on real country though. There's so much great rootsy country (way it should be) out there to be heard. Justin Townes Earle, Daniel Romano, to name a couple.

I really liked What Light when I first heard it, and I even covered it for a while.... But then one day I came to my senses.... Still, SBS is a good album.

A crime indeed. I fell in love with it upon first listen. Being There is the first Wilco record I really got into, and Lonely 1 is one of the songs that made me realize there was something special about this band...

Yep, I'm sure they have done very well off this record so far. Owning their own label and being as popular as they are... ka-ching indeed.

Bands you wish that you had seen, but missed the chance

You'll get another chance in 10 years or so when they go on their ridiculously over priced reunion tour. -
I voted!

It would appear so, yes.

When the site was upgraded, I'm pretty sure it threw out a bunch of avatar's that exceeded the size requirements. Looks like yours didn't make the cut.
