Did anyone else felt gypped that they aren't streaming John Doe? I was all set to hear him too... No matter, the boys go on in T-52 minutes. Discuss.

Here, Here! It's positively killing me I can't be there tonight with all y'all. I need to rinse out this nasty taste in my mouth called Upper Darby, PA. I'll be tuning in tonight just the same. Here's hoping they pull out all the stops! cheers, Kevin

If you find yourself in western NC on your way through Tennessee, you might want to check out Asheville, NC. cheers, Kevin

I could tell that the folks down front and up near the stage were into it. It was painful not to be able to have that same kind of experience of moving to the music without having someone yell at me and my girl to sit down. kevin -

I'm hoping that once the boot surfaces, all that negative energy that surrounded us in the balcony will disappear. For anyone that may find themselves in this kind of situation in the future, just remember: you do have a choice. You can choose to let others control your emotions, or you can choose to focus on the music. That said, I think I've seen my first and last Wilco show in Philadelphia. That crowd in the balcony (except for all our comrades who really wanted to stand up too!) just didn't effin' get it. It's really no wonder Wilco waited so long to return. cheers, Kevin -
Thanks for the link, Louie! Kevin

I've got the Wil-cough, and my voice is shot all to pieces, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I think it might be bronchitis, since I used to get that every year. I'll be getting a good shot in the arm tomorrow night in Philly, but after that I'll be living vicariously through Isadorah. cough cough, Kevin

I saw him play a small club in Raleigh a couple years ago called the Pourhouse. This was just after "Forever Hasn't Happened Yet" was released. He's a standout musician and I'm very excited to see him up in Philly tomorrow night. X has been a favorite band of mine for many years as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he'll play a few classic X tracks. What would we be without wishful thinking, eh? cheers, kevin

I second the "Box Full of Lecords". Also: "This note makes me have to pee." during the intro of "I'm the Man Who Loves You"

I *know* I'll forget some names along the way ("memory's short but the tales are long.") In some sort of rough chronological order they are... Bill (willywoody) Jeremy (brianjeremy) Melissa (Isadorah) Vanessa (hummingbird) Julie (lovecontagious) Jim, Julie's hubby and Lilac Rain then along comes the residency tour... Rob (VWcommercial) Tamela (happeningstone) Alison (lady of eating and beating) Beth (marigrrrl) from NYC Rick & Laurie from Boston (can't recall VC names) Leo (leo) Chris Andrew Larry Edie (edie) Yvon (Ms Yvon) LouieB (LouieB) Molly (meebs) ? Max, Thanks for adding an element that we no doubt would be missing had Jeff not made the 11th hour decision to add a horn section. To hear that you arranged the parts in such a short span of time is absolutely remarkable. It was good meeting you at the Fat Cat and I hope you were able to get the grenadine stain off your tuxedo shirt from Tuesday night. Kevin

For those who went to every show in the residency?

The fact that I'm completely saturated with Wilco is not keeping me from a seven hour drive to Philly (by way of DC) this Saturday. After Saturday, though... I think I'll be sated for the rest of the year. I say that now... by summertime I'll wish the boys were touring some more. Kevin
