Saw Dan and Hacienda last night. Just an unreal show. I have never heard Hacienda before last night and they definitely won me over. Ran out and bought their latest this morning. Dan Auerbach is really great live act. Maybe my favorite release of the year and it sounded much better live.

Yes, it's pretty great. I posted on here somewhere about it. Although I long for a proper album from him, i'll take a snippet here and there as well. I'd still like to get 49:00 as a proper release.

Can't believe that I left that out. I love Neil Young output through 1979 and a misc stuff after that. I like most of his stuff. I love all of the Black Keys albums and they continue to get better to my ears.

I think Patterson's position with the band is pretty safe.

Just watched it again. I thought it was pretty great. Would have likely been better without Meg but great nonetheless.

I believe the excitement comes from fans of the band that are really like seeing the band play together again. Your lack of excitement is likely related to the fact that you don't enjoy the band. What you are seeing here is what folks often refer to as a "difference of opinion". Hope this helps.

After a couple of spins, I'd say it's pretty damn good. Hard to go wrong with that voice. I need to spend more time with it. I haven't gotten to the 31 minute opus. What's up with that song?
