  1. The Bears likely had the worst wide receiving core in the NFL. In my opinion, they completely under-valued the position. I think Orton is a steady quarterback but you won't be able to truly judge him until he has some receivers to toss the ball at. Oh, and Manning for MVP.
  2. I strongly prefer his offerings on Open Season. My kids do like it but I don't necessarily consider them 'kids songs'. Very good stuff.
  3. I see this comment on this board relatively frequently. Not sure how people gather this almost as if it is a fact. How do you know that the movie wasn't slanted away from this? I would think that there is quite a bit of footage pointing towards Jay's dismissal that was not included in the actual film. I like Jay and hope he does well but it was clear that Wilco was going in a different direction.
  4. Actually, "49:00" is only 44 minutes or so . In other news, he just released 3 more songs http://www.paulwesterberg.com/news.htm
  5. I need to spend a bit more time with it but I like it much better than their previous release which was pretty hit and miss for me. My Girls stands out for me thus far.
  6. Happy b-day guys. Lam - I owe you one of these.
  7. I agree. Pleased to Meet Me has the best outtakes, etc. Sounds like an extended album. They all have good sound but most of the outtakes sound just like outtakes/demos (i.e. shittier versions of the original). Pleased to Meet Me and, to a lesser degree, Tim, are definitely worth having for the extras. Let it Be isn't too bad either.
  8. I think I listen to Streetcore as much as I do any other album. Not many go out at their peek. I wish like heck that he was still around but definitely glad I had a chance to see him once.
  9. You should start working on your Easter tape.
  10. This Atlanta/Minnesota game is something.... let's go Falcons!
  11. I'm guessing you haven't even heard it, right? Nice opinion though. Oh, and, great thread!
  12. wow, i'll have to sell mine! It's a good disc but I haven't touched the actual cd in 10 years.
  13. Really, was this worth the search? It's a great album... I haven't heard Lindsey Buckingham since Fleetwood Mac. Iron & Wine doesn't sound like Fleetwood Mac.
