  1. Alright, I think mine is at least thanksgiving related.
  2. I swear I saw that thing somewhere in "The Dark Crystal".
  3. I was going to go with a picture of the Cranberries with Dolores O' Riordan but thought that might be a stretch.
  4. Anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. That magic realism stuff does nothing for me.
  5. I remember reading that Todd Rundgren now owns this guitar, or at least he did for awhile.
  6. Did someone just mention Bacon? My swiney sense is tingling.
  7. I didn't picture them being heavy enought to open for Wolfmother. He's a dead ringer for George in the pictures I have seen.
  8. They were robbed! Although I do like Sufjan. His song "John Wayne Gacy, Jr" from that album creeps me out. I agree about the White Stripes, that would not be my first choice. Not sure about the Avett Brothers choice either. I like Emotionalism better so far.
  9. I also loved this book but I know so many people who could not get through it. This will probably be sacrilege to some people but I could not get through "Dune" at all. Gave up halfway through.
  10. Normally I would not care about the success of someone like Jeff Dunham, but I was held hostage at my Sister in laws last thanksgiving while being made to watch one of his DVD's. Could happen again this year. Just really unfunny stuff (to me) and I don't get the success.
  11. Picked this up for $0.50 at a going out of business sale. I remember seeing someone post it on here (PopTodd?) so thought I would give it a chance. Sounds really good. I also picked up the following for $0.50/each: Thee Headcoats - Headcoatitude The Soup Dragons - Hydrophonic Jay Bennet - The magnificent defeat The best of Golden Smog (already had it but for 50 cents, why not) Sugar - File under easy listening Urge Overkill - Exit the Dragon The Wonder Stuff - Never loved Elvis The Piggies - Over rated Got some vinyl as well for 0.25/each. I hate to see an indy store die though, ther
  12. I managed to combine the Beatles and Halloween on this one. Happy Halloween! (try to sleep after this).
  13. Still my favorite U2 as well. I am going to get this ASAP.
  14. I thought Paul watched John play outside but actually met him later on inside the church (or somewhere) where Paul played 20 Flight Rock?
  15. I kind of thought the same thing. I was never a big Weezer fan so I think I was somewhat objective watching it and I thought it was kind of cool. Maybe I was expecting a train wreck after reading the other posts.
