yep, Kevin's link definitely supports that. i remember years ago talking w/ an engineer from Jacobs who was working on a job w/ me. he said "I'm not sure where you get your energy from, but all my electricity comes from a wind farm in Idaho." -
that must have changed somewhere down the line, because when i saw Tony w/ Geezer and Dio in 2009, they were billed as Heaven and Hell, and not Black Sabbath (heard it was due to Sharon O's posturing, meaning that somehow she (and Ozzy) had gotten legal ownership of the band's name).

this is speculation on my part, but i would imagine that if you have an electric car, you actually drive it less than a conventional car, in terms of total miles. does anyone who's got an electric car care to chime in? also, there's the angle of which is less polluting - making electricity via a power plant, or a car. i would bet the plant wins that scenario. -
i kept seeing this name pop up in best of 2015 lists... pretty good! i saw Konono No 1 play once. they were groovy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJCwfjl_sXc

^^^ i listened to Unlimited Edition yesterday... some good stuff going on there. those Can LP reissues are pretty awesome.

notwithstanding the fact that some people paid attention to the lyrics, let's just match up hard rock against hard rock... (albeit "Patience" is anything but... i can't believe that song is over six minutes long.) #1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnN6T3O7jww #2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6Dfo4zDduI #3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woe_4gkS4XU

well, there were a LOT of great songs from the '80s.... these three (which don't even include "Welcome To The Jungle"!?!) are the best of the decade? did Lenny Kravitz write these lyrics?
-
that is awesome.

the best David Kilgour song that David never wrote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awdu6TmToYc

oh, Steve's just a friend of Kurt's. i know he played in Kurt's band on the Wakin' tour, but i think that was mainly because he was tour support too. i like Steve's stuff a lot. really nice guy, too. Jim Elkington (Tweedy band) also played in Steve's band on a tour a couple of years ago.

Adam Granduciel left The Violators to concentrate on The War On Drugs full-time (and Kurt used to be in TWOD). Jesse Turbo is the last original Violator (along w/ KV).
-
yeah, he was in TWOD and Adam was a Violator for a while too. this is my favorite song of his... totally love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EI-jaJ6pEhI
