  1. Wilcobase is a good resource for those sorts of questions: Wilcobase-->Songs Search-->Results--Not For The Season Wilcobase-->Songs Search-->Results-->Laminated Cat
  2. I know the first one, but not the second one.
  3. I was going by all of those books by way of Amazon - but it would cost me a fortune in shipping and handling. There are some others that were announced, but never got published. In the show, the character of Annie Devlin was played by Sheena Easton. .
  4. I'd use the IMDB link. It's bound to be there.
  5. Ok - here is one I did not know about until not to long ago: What movie features a scene that was filmed very near where the band Lynyrd Skynyrd is shown in the photograph on their first album cover?
  6. Check The DVD Project Site. Or you could do a search in the Via Chicago Archives. I always forget about this as a resource: Wilco's listing at the IMDB.
  7. Mo played here where I live back on the early 90s (I think) - and in an interview mentioned where she worked. I learned that about Lou Reed from one of the old rock magazines I have at home. The rest I don't think I knew until I saw it online somewhere a few years ago.
  8. 1. Mo Tucker - Wal Mart employee 2. Sterling Morrison - Tugboat Captain 3. Doug Yule - Cabinetmaker 4. Lou Reed - Typist for father's company
  9. True - but some people never look past the TTL section, or only look at the music sections.
  10. You could add the other guy, and two more jobs.
  11. I can't say I love the last album that much, but out of the most new releases I have bought in the last few years, I probably play it the most. I am looking forward to the new one. I still have that one show we found. I may have to listen to it this weekend, as I have not heard it in a while.
  12. I was just going to say. . . But, Marc will always be better than who comes after him. At least, so far. A lot of those Luther shows I have heard sounded like a train wreck. I know they got it together at some point, and I do hope the new album is good.
  13. There is a thread about it at Ryan Adams Archive.
  14. The Making of Revolver (The Beatles.com)
  15. I rather like the sound of that album, I know that. It's my third favorite Wilco album, actually. I was hoping they would start a long run of making albums in that studio.
  16. A lot of people don't like Gold. Or, at least I don't. Anyhow, he is not for you. No big deal. I think there are some great songs on those unreleased collections. Like Wilco, his new stuff is more laid back, when it really needs to be more rocking somehow.
  17. I believe one of the reasons AGIB sounds the way it does is due to the fact that was recorded at Sear Sound. And this: Mastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road, London
  18. All of this stuff has been floating around in various places for a while. It's nice that it is all together for someone to grab though.
