  1. Why do we think they gave the S-K tour a name ('It's Time')? Is it a throw back to last summer's popular 'Now's the Time' tour by Gin Blossoms & Collective Soul?
  2. Yes! There is one. There pw info is really easy to find on Wilco's tour page and in the text of the youtube video posted above.
  3. Nice! Glad they are at least getting this leg going. Hope they make it Vegas where I'm catching them

"one recently unearthed (but never released) cover of “Casino Queen” by Billy Gibbons featuring Jeff Tweedy himself on guitar." nice!
  5. It doesn't look like shows are currently being postponed, but the situation won't likely get better there any time soon. Amazon & Microsoft have told told all employees to work from home. Schools in a district N of Seattle are closed for up to two weeks. Hopefully it all works out, Wilco and YFF play amazing shows and everyone stays healthy.
  6. Have to imagine these shows might get postponed
  7. It was so great. Chris was 'on' and the setlist was the right mix of classics and solid deep cuts. The highlight for me was the Eddie Harsch story and the ensuing performance of Descending.
  8. Brothers of a Feather (Chris and Rich Robinson)
  9. Two? What do you know that we don't? I suspect they either held onto this to make an announcement that would prompt sales at other gigs, OR had to sell out the Oakland shows before announcing, OR had an open day reserved for media appearances that didn't come through and booked it up. Either way, hell of a venue. Is it the venue they've played the most gigs at? Probably either that or Riviera in Chicago?
  10. Picked up tickets to see Chris and Rich perform at Lincoln Hall in a few weeks. Going to be interested to see what the song selection is like for the show. I'm hoping it veers off of Shake Your Money Maker liberally. They couldn't have picked a better Chicago venue.
  11. $200 is for two tickets, right? I'm seeing $77 + fees as the ticket price. I too wish the market was not at this level (at either $100 or $200!)
  12. New date in Minnesota in September at a 16,000 seat amphitheater at a casino. The beginning of a fall tour? Casino circuit?
  13. The Musicares event which honored Aerosmith this year.
  14. Nice that Joey was able to appear. I slagged Aero for opening Vegas shows with Joe Perry's Let The Music Do the Talking and I'm sticking with that but Foo Fighters sound pretty great doing it. “Rats in the Cellar,” Cheap Trick “Crazy,” Jonas Brothers “Angel,” Luis Fonsi & Emily King “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” Ashley McBryde “What it Takes,” Gavin DeGraw “Janie’s Got a Gun,” Kesha “Cryin,’” Yola & Gary Clark Jr. “Livin’ on the Edge,” LeAnn Rimes “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” John Legend “Home Tonight,” Jessie J “Walk This Way,” Melissa Etheridge with Nuno Bettencourt “Back in the S
  15. Bob Seger's ShakeDown is his only #1 hit 26 years into his career & Cheap Trick with their only #1, The Flame, 15 years into their career (they didn't write it) are other examples
  16. I sort of assume the short set is the result of age/stamina + the casino wanting those people on the casino floor and may even have set length guidelines in the contract...
  17. The payments for his replacement are not really in dispute by Kramer so I don't know why we are making a big deal out of that. Can we talk about how Aerosmith is opening their residency shows with a Joe Perry Project cover instead?
  18. High Water fest daily schedule is now out. Wilco headline on Sunday 4/19. Same night as Mavis Staples and Sharon Van Etten so hoping for some collaborations!
  19. Nice. Compare the two Chicago Theatre Winterludes variety-wise: 2017: 106 songs performed with 49 unique songs. 2019: 114 songs performed with 48 unique songs.
  20. Wilco delivered. It was a fantastic show. My jaw dropped during Bull Black Nova. We Were Lucky was stellar. The surprise Spiders was intense and featured the South American guitar riff crowd participation. SVE opening. Sort of speechless still.
  21. I must be missing the awesome parts of the review. Seems like the latter to me. Mentions all band members in the article except Pat.
  22. I totally agree with bbop. I was there last night and it just isn't a good energy for a Wilco show compared to many other venues. UIC was a better big option. Last night was show #74 for me. The fake and real encores were pretty stellar, but other than that a very subpar experience. I really couldn't dislike OtJ more so that is likely a big factor for me.
  23. John's part of a benefit show on Thursday (prior to Winterlude finale) at the Chicago Cultural Center: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/gather-remember-act-tickets-85183334647 Cup (Nels & Yuka C Honda) have a West Coast tour on the books February with stops in Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Nels also has a few late December shows/appearances in NYC.
