  1. What are the chances Eddie doesn't show up for some of these?
  2. Think you mean too long for 1 LP?? I liked the length of Star Wars, but any length has been pretty good historically.
  3. So we have the following LPs colors: Black Orange (Kung Fu) Pink (Indie US Stores including Bull Moose) Green (European) ---Edited the Bull Moose version---
  4. Anyone seen any writing or production credits? I always find that interesting...
  5. $.03 cheaper than Kung Fu too. I was wondering if they'd do something unique for indies. Good to see. Lots of options for collectors.
  6. Rich was interviewed by Adam Corolla recently. The interview is posted on Rich's site right now. I thought it was a good conversation. Thinking about seeing him in Milwaukee this week. I've never seen him solo before...
  7. They have named albums after two movies now...Being There and Star Wars. I'm ok with the album titles. Love this: "Twelve new songs and a vibe that Jeff Tweedy calls “joyously negative.”"
  8. I went ahead an pre-ordered the limited orange vinyl. Just realized I never bought Star Wars (although I did buy one of the recommended albums that Wilco suggested in place of paying for it...Girl Pool). The weekly contests look fun. Did I miss the tote bag option?? August 30th winner (Signed guitar from the Loft): August 31st winner (22" custom Schmilco wall clock. These are made exactly like the originals and fabricated only with parts made in the USA. Featuring all steel and glass construction, this is a real neon clock that will last a lifetime.): September 1st winner (Awesome myster

  10. Twin Peaks are opening the Chicago show. They are about at the same level of popularity as Pearl Jam, right?
  11. You were holding out on us?? I wonder why it says Warner in parenthesis after the track name?
  12. Their show at Turner Hall in Milwaukee last night was pretty great. They are good performers.
  13. The website has a recent face lift too which points to moving towards the next project.
  14. I did not enjoy the Brotherly Love tour! Hope they do something different if the reunion happens. Maybe it's ok if they go away though? The legacy is in a good spot.
  15. Anybody seen him perform? I'm going tomorrow. Interested to see how the excellent album translates to live.
  16. Night of - amazing first episode. Still thinking about it.
  17. How did you choose the photo?
  18. Aerosmith actually had a hit song in 1998. So it has been 18 years, but...the Stones haven't had one since 1981, right? I also think it is impressive that Aerosmith (and ZZ Top) are still at with the original 5 members. Not many bands can make that work.
  19. Used to be a big fan. So many great songs. I don't know if I would call the upcoming situation a breakup so much as a retirement. Dudes are old. Tyler is crazy for putting out a solo album and touring behind it this year.
  20. Nels and Wilco were teasing this yesterday on twitter. Looks like an August 5th release for "Lovers" on Blue Note. Great album cover. 18 tracks arranged and conducted by Michael Lionheart. The song "Beautiful Love" is available now. Jazzy. http://www.nelscline.com/lovers/
  21. Can somebody correct my spelling of Stirratt in the title? Weirdest one that I'm aware of is on Blind Melon's 1995 album, Soup. Track one (Galaxie) can be rewound to negative 3 minutes and there is an original backing tracking with vocals that are their song "New Life" played in reverse.
  22. http://www.mascontext.com/issues/28-hidden-winter-15/requiem-for-the-hidden-track/ Essay by John Stirratt I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get a grasp on Monty Python’s Matching Tie and Handkerchief Side 2, a hand-me-down. I loved the skit “Minister for Overseas Development” in which Terry Jones and Michael Palin are old ladies talking to an adult professional John Cleese like he’s a baby. When I put the needle down on vinyl, it would sometimes be there, but other times there was an entirely different performance. I was probably too young to understand the mechanics behind the idea of
