I did not dig Hypnotic Eye and are you sure you like it better than the great/underappreciated Highway Companion which falls into your "prior 3" statement?

I'm pretty sure they just added that at the end of that batch of auctions. I don't think they have many more weird million dollar guitars. Maybe that it wasn't what you were saying though... -
That is crazy that they left out the sox...

It is a strange progression and too bad, but he's not the first to have this happen to them. Maybe the Last DJ was his last effort as it was largely on this topic and it seems the cycle after that the prices went way up...

I have to imagine they will press as single albums down the road, but this is a way to get fans to pay for the albums that people won't buy as stand alone such as Let Me Up...

I enjoyed the keyboards during the show too. I assumed they were louder in the mix than the band would want given that I've never heard them like that. Meanwhile you all assume that was as intended. Interesting.

That was awesome. I want to do that!

I think he has the big rock kit with the electrocuted Dad and then this woodsy low key one for the Schmilco setup.

Now airing on Wilcoworld It's a pretty cool watch. Not sure how many times I'll have the urge to check it out. There is a little extra audio not on the album that plays over the (brief) credits. When do we start ranking the band's videos? I know they like it when we do that kind of thing...

Tom's releasing/re-releasing all the studio albums on two vinyl boxsets - both the ones with the Heartbreakers and the solo albums. Each box is $260. Cashing in on the vinyl craze. The first 9 albums all fit on one piece of vinyl each = $29/album. Seems ridiculous Self Titled, You're Going to Get It, Damn the Torpedos, Hard Promises, Long After Dark, Southern Accents, Let Me Up (I've Had Enough), Full Moon Fever, Into the Great Wide Open The next 7 albums are on 12 pieces of vinyl = $37/album. Seems even more ridiculous Wildflowers, She's the One, Echo, Last DJ, Highway Companion, Mojo, Hy

Ummm, did they really sell a $999,999 guitar on the site? https://reverb.com/item/1428718-custom-built-steerhorn-deerskin-warmoth-guitar-disowned-by-jeff-tweedy -
I early voted yesterday. Very happy to have been able to do it that way.

Phil Collins is going back on tour. Seems like a good fit.

Desert trip weekend #2 last night. He switched up his set from #1 and did play Like a Rolling Stone (no guests). Setlist looks very nice.

"Purity" by Jonathan Franzen. It's well written so far.

I saw a movie in a theater for the first time in a long time yesterday: Deepwater Horizon Lots of action and drama and explosions and if that is your kind of thing you will be entertained. The event itself, of course, is such a tragedy and I felt awful for everyone on the rig the entire movie. It definitely lays the blame on BP. I found it interesting that there was no mention of government regulations etc. On a side note: 22 minutes of previews and $12.50 for a ticket make going to the movies a really obnoxious undertaking.
