It is kind of annoying that they book these kind of shows...

I sense that their popularity is waining even as they become more regonizable to most people. I bet we'll be able to see them at the Vic pretty regularly. The question really is, will they ever play a show at a place like Martyrs again?

8-20-1995 HORDE tour in Michigan. My friend and I went over to the second stage to watch the band play and Chris and Rich Robinson walked right in front of us to go watch. I was a huge Black Crowes fan and thought, if they are watching, there must be something to this band. I thought they were good enough, but wasn't really hooked at the time. I saw them again in 1999 and then many many times since then.

Jack isn't in enough scenes this season. that's the problem i have.

Aren't both festivals multiple days? Couldn't any band play both? Heck Phil Collins played two continents for Live Aid back in the day...

I saw those guys when they came through Chicago last month. I've never seen so much energy on that stage before. Do they sound good on record?

John didn't open for Jeff, but he has come out to play with Jeff for a song or two a couple times. I remember him joining at the Abbey Pub on California Stars once. Mike also joined Jeff on stage twice at the abbey during solo shows. He was on a lap top doing his solitaire thing...

I can't believe they dropped the bomb in hour 4. I can't believe Curtis is dead. They almost go over the top just to prove they are going to always go over the top. Great great start to the season. I think that is a reasonable price for this band in that venue. I wish I wasn't going to be in Michigan
