I've told Analogman this story about 30 times but I saw Rush with at my high school. This was long enough ago that Rush was actually opening for a Beatles cover band called Liverpool. I was more less oblivious to the line up back then, but given the timelines, I'm pretty sure it must have been Rutsey. Bruce's "policy" hasnt' really changed but I believe that his stance is way more relaxed now. This team has been playing that way since at least December. With Alfredsson in the lineup (and Fischer as well), the way they have played in 08 might have taken the Penguins to 6 - at best. Without them, they'll be lucky to win a game. This team would have been much better off missing the playoffs. Then there would be no doubt that they need a serious heart transplant.
