on Pearl Jam's NA tour this year they played over 90 of their own tunes, and a couple dozen different covers... if you count songs that get partially tagged onto Daughter it was over 125. On last year's Canadian tour, that was only 16 dates, they did 97 unique songs. For the record, I'm perfectly happy with any Wilco performance I get to see, but knowing how to play what seems like a huge amount of songs isn't necessarily an impossibility.

I went to a comedy show a couple of weeks ago, and one of the comics' entire routine was mostly jokes about why Dane Cook was terrible... which were funny in and of themselves, but apparently hilarious if you knew who Dane Cook is, which I did not.
