MORE numbers clues...

It is the significance of 316. They really pounded the Microwave clock image.

Noticed that too.

 

316 is significant for Ajira. That episode was "316". The website for Ajira has John 3:16 embedded in the source code.

The well.

 

 

Indeed...but the well holds something deeper and more important. I don't think the heiroglyph of Anubis and the statue are there for ambience.

 

On second thought...maybe it' not the well. Remember when the losties flashed back to a time when the statue was intact...the well was not there.

Read an interesting theory somewhere earlier today (can't remember where) that maybe it's Jughead that lies in the shadow of the statue, and maybe Ilana, Bram, et al. are on the island to detonate the hydrogen bomb.

 

Not sure if that makes any sense whatsoever, but it's certainly intriguing.
