Smokestack Joe
i think they took it down. but the packaging for the new Deluxe record is insane

trevor
i was dead tired listening to this last nite, and i fell asleep around track six or seven...one of the last things i remember was hearing a watch beep similar to "What is the Light?", which is a nice touch/homage to earlier FLips. But yeah, this sounded OUT there. Track four nearly broke my brain. Going to try and listen to this now at work, already getting distracted by people...
bobbob1313
I feel like I should wait until I'm not on a shitty laptop to listen, but I can't.
mjpuczko
i tried listening earlier but was having work internet issues. i'll wait for a leak.
bobbob1313
Still waiting for that one knock out melody. The arrangements and atmosphere are there, but I need a "Race For The Prize" or "Yoshimi 1".
Synthesizer Patel
i downloaded the stream and had a listen, and i don't think i'm going to be liking this album at all. it just sounds like music to get a headache by.
bobbob1313
I'm not sure what to think, but it was just one listen.

augurus
I swear that wasn't there before. You browser probably ran into a small hiccup trying to load the applet. Still somewhat undecided after two listens: now I know what it feels like to be a normal American. /rimshot
jimmyjimmy
I am LOVING this. Despite Karen O's squawking Oh man. I am not a big fan of her's.
explodo
This record starts out extremely strong but, on my first listen, I was tired of it about halfway through (I wish that Colbert applet named and numbered the tracks as they played). It's nice to see them make something like this, especially after their last record, but as is always the case with double albums, you have to wonder if it couldn't have been condensed into a really great single disc. lamradio
I'm listening to the stream, loving it. If anyone could point me towards an MP3 capture of the stream, it would be highly appreciated... If you use Firefox, get the Download Helper plug-in. This way you can download each individual track from the stream and save it to your hard drive. The MP3's are decent quality at 160 bps. If you don't have Firefox, get it.. It blows IE away... Need more help with using Download Helper, let me know.
ThisIsNowhere
I have to say the first time I listened to it I loved it but my reaction to my second listen was far less enthusiastic. I'll have to listen to it a few more times before I make my mind up on it.

LouieB
Started out ok but got irritating real quick! that was sort of how I felt SEEING the Flaming Lips this summer..... Why couldn't these guys have stayed a cult band?? They were so much more fun like that. LouieB
