suites
Just read this quote from Keith..... If they toured with this in mind it might be pretty cool. The question on everyone’s mind, of course, is whether or not the band will tour to celebrate reaching the half-century mark, and Richards sounds as eager as ever to hit the road and crank up the amps. He’s organizing jam sessions with bandmates Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts in London next month, and when asked if his longtime foil Mick Jagger was invited, he responded, “Of course. I mean, everybody’s welcome. I was going to ask Bill Wyman to come by too. And Mick Taylor. The whole lot. They’re all Stones, you know? Why not?”
MountainGerbil
Touring with Mick Taylor again would probably be the only way that I'd be interested in seeing them (again).
jff
Bringing Wyman back would be cool. Keith sounds like he really wants him back.
Scott Gyrrr
Some Girls is being re-released on Monday and there is a live in Texas 78 DVD coming out 28 nov.
calvino
I saw the 78 Texas show in the theaters last month - great, great show. I think I liked it better than Ladies and Gentleman. Having Wyman back in the fold would be great, but I don't think it's gonna happen, but who knows.
Mr. Heartbreak
Some Girls is being re-released on Monday and there is a live in Texas 78 DVD coming out 28 nov.I am really interested in this Some Girls rerelease. People panned the Exile release, though, so I may wait until I see some more reviews....
Scott Gyrrr
I got the remastered in 2009 version of Some Girls but the new stuff sounds promising. Guardian

Scott Gyrrr
I actually think he was pretty hard on Jagger in that book. Maybe I need to read it again though. Meanwhile I just downloaded the Brussels Affair Flacs They are ace.
calvino
I haven't gotten around to download the Brussels set, yet. Definitely looking forward to it. I didn't think Richards was too tough on Jagger or at least any tougher than he has in the past.
jff
I didn't even realize I owned Some Girls, but over the weekend I found out that I do indeed have a copy. It's now in my on-deck crate.
calvino
Meanwhile I just downloaded the Brussels Affair Flacs They are ace. In the US, only MP3's are available, which is a bit of a shame - probably the reason, I haven't gotten around to buy it, yet. Though the price of $5 is pretty decent. Analogman
The Rolling Stones will play four dates in November, two at London's O2 Arena and two at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, a source tells Billboard.biz.
calvino
Well maybe Crow is right - yet another greatest hits record with a couple of new songs thrown in - pretty disappointing. Oh well. If the 4 shows do happen, hopefully they are a success and they play well - I wouldn't mind seeing them one more time.
makeshift
It's subjective; but that is the worst album cover I have ever seen.
uncool2pillow
I'm pretty sure there's nothing subjective about it. Maybe not the worst, but just plain bad.
Analogman
I think I read somewhere that Charlie Is My Darling is coming out on DVD around the same time as the new documentary.
