chuckrh
Trying to remain optimistic in difficult times, I scored front row center tickets for Placebo in September. They are considered ADA seats in the (old) theater. I actually scored these 2 nights in a row for Wilco when they had the stage with all the leaves. Nice! The ticket prices were realistic for Placebo so it's not much of a gamble. The difference between Europe & US on venue size for Placebo is pretty vast. In Europe, they can sell out multiple nights in big arenas. In the US, it's small theaters for the most part.

I have seen them a few times over the years in NYC at fairly small venues.

Been a long while since I bought tickets for a Riviera show, but I don't remember seeing that before.

But I bought tickets to two other Riv shows for later in the summer last week and they both had the same feature. I know the Riv is now using the AXS platform. Tickets in the mezzanine and balconies all are assigned seating.

Typically I always stayed on the main floor -- but the couple of times we went up to the balcony, the brisk walk up the stairs to nab a great seat was a hoot. I don't remember ever seeing seat numbers - but I can be wrong about that. I guess the venue/promotor gets a bit more dough this way, too.

But it gets me out of the house. 2

I am very fortunate I am not a far drive from NYC and Philly. They keep adding dates hope you get a chance soon!
