  2. i got 5 and then gave up. im not a huge scary movie buff..fun game though
  3. haha i wondered if erin had commented on this yet. i was down in the photo room like the first day this guy started there, and he kind of chuckled to himself when someone asked me what other artists ive taken pictures of at shows, and i answered jeff tweedy/wilco...i kind of gave him a look (i didnt really know who the hell he was at this point) and he was just like "no no, thats just funny, because i helped in a photo shoot of him last week!" it was very strange! anyway, i too have been waiting for these, and im so glad you shared them with us! these photos are truly amazing. good work!
  4. Setlist as written: Shake It Off Hell Is Chrome Handshake Shot Impossible Break Muzzle Company War Sunken Mountain Bed (full band..hell yes) Airline Jesus Walken Theologians I'm The Man Hummingbird Via Chicago What Light Late Greats Future Age Cali Stars HMD LNGCAway Kingpin great show..seemed pretty lengthy but i guess not too much longer than most, they played for about 2 and a half hours, came on around 9 i think and left the stage right at 11:30. it sounded fantastic, everyone was really on tonight, and the crowd was pretty good too. convincing enough of a night to make me sell m
  5. congrats to the stirratts! hope all goes well
  6. wooooo birthdays! hope everyone had a good day today! i think more people 'know' me than they think...i confused a lot of people with my name change..im still casinoqueen on the inside, i swear! (and brianne..we have indeed met we actually thought we saw you at the milwaukee show but werent sure if it was you or not so we decided against saying something..sorry!)
  7. thanks guys!! actually im thinking about doing my first 18+ show tomorrow night, wendy (pretty quick, eh?) lucero and rocky votolato...we'll see if i actually end up going though. today was pretty low key..just hung out with some friends and enjoyed the day. tomorrow is 'litfest' at school, soo basically i go to 3 seminars listening to some writers talk about life, and then my 4th seminar is andrew bird performing in our auditorium!? he agreed to come and talk about song writing/perform. a perfect way to end the week, id say. and a perfect day-after-birthday-day. thanks for all your birthd
  8. I wrote down in my calendar awhile ago that Lucero and Rocky Votolato are playing an 18+ show at the Metro on Friday 11/3, but I think it's only Lucero now. Also, Alejandro Escovedo @ Park West that same night On sunday 11/5, Voxtrot will be playing at the Empty Bottle. That's all I've got...but those are 3 good shows. I might end up at one of the friday shows if i can manage it (am turning 18 tomorrow so it could be an exciting adventure to do my first 18+ show the next day! )
  9. really incredible show...great theater, good crowd (for the most part), and a fantastic setlist. pat's 'accompaniment' was fun...this show seemed way longer than friday's for some reason (even though it really wasnt), maybe because he waited longer to take his encore break. i cant get over the setlist...i know its repetitive, but dreamer in my dreams? box full of letters? screen door? so awesome. he picked the perfect songs for the environment..very mellow, very intimate, and at some points pretty emotional..loved it! a really awesome night all around ps, way to get a good spot, warner..cant
  10. Well, the two hours spent just trying to get the fuck out of Chicago last night ended up being well worth it (though probably the most frustrating experience of my entire life..it took us 2 hours to go 30 miles through the city, and about an hour and a half to go the 130 miles we had left to Champaign...I'm pretty sure I didn't go under 100 until we reached U of I. can't believe we made it without a ticket...) We got there about 10 minutes before jeff went on, which meant missing Autumn Defense which sucked..I was hoping to hear more of the new stuff they've been working on (speaking of..anyo
  11. ummmm hey wendy..wanna send that one along my way? didn't know you guys had that! that was a freaking incredible show...im keeping my fingers crossed for some midwest dates as well!
  12. that. was fucking fantastic. i had forgotten bout solo jeff for awhile...i could not be more excited for fridays show really, i cant get over how good that was.
  13. damn it, mike warned me not to start, but I had to look anyway....and now I can't turn it off! god i have so much work to do tonight...and chances are it won't get done... this is very well done. and the stream was a brilliant idea. thanks to those who deserve it!
  14. they gave me a LOT of shit for my small digital last time, actually...i got it in no problem, but then the second i took it out for a picture during the openers a lady working there came in and pulled my shirt--"NO PHOTOGRAPHY. i'll let it go this time, but do it again and the camera goes" once wilco came on and hundreds of flashes started going out throughout the theater though, they seemed to not watch me as closely...that being said, our view from our box at the benefit show (i think we might have had your exact box, serviceoutrage...im pretty sure we were in #3):
  15. For the most part, this worked out pretty well. Especially the opening and ending credits...weird! Opening Credits: Act Of The Apostle II--Belle & Sebastian Waking Up: Your Song (Instrumental)--Moulin Rouge Soundtrack Monday: Inaniel--Devendra Banhart Fight Song: Spinning--Zero 7 Breaking up: Wherever I Go--The Album Leaf (wow..weird) Prom: Pot Kettle Black--Wilco Life: E-Pro--Beck () Mental Breakdown: At The Wake--The Format Driving: There's A Danger--Patti Smith Flashback: Hot In Here--Nelly (hahah, hell yes..) Getting Back Together: Glenn Tipton--Sun Kil Moon Wed
  16. Not sure if you mean sad lyrically, or sad in terms of the music...but: "The Lighthouse's Tale" Nickel Creek "One By One" Billy Bragg and Wilco (more of a 'happy sad' if you know what i mean)
  17. well i can't guarantee i'll stay in em..that aisle offers quite a lot of dancing room!
  18. people got pit tickets for both nights...i dont think they'd sell the tickets if the seats werent there!
