Can't pull the trigger for that price, but I have set the DVR for Wednesday night.

The wife tolerates them. I know she'd become a fan is she saw them live. That always happens when I take her to live shows. Well, except for Richard Thompson. She likes the shows, but I don't think she ever listens to his CDs.

Did I miss it? Didn't see any comments about Zambrano's tantrum yesterday. It was a thing of beauty.

DM is better than it was 10 or 20 years ago. Hell, Wilco's played here 3x in the past 6 years. What else do you need? Seriously, there's some cool things happening. For a town its size, it's not bad.

I've been running Vista for over a year and haven't found a reason to hate it yet. Still not used to the Office 2007 menus, but that's a different issue.

Reading Billy Bragg's comments reminded me of a moment in Man in the Sand when Jay comments humorously about a feud between Jeff and Billy. Something about their egos. I always thought that foreshadowed Jay's eventual exit. Listened to his latest CD finally, having downloaded in months ago. It is tremendous. I've only heard and snippets of his other solo stuff and never heard anything I really liked. This was really good!

Summit beers are great! Not a brewpub, but the Extra Pale Ale is widely available on tap. There's a brew pub in downtown Minneapolis called Glueck's that I used to hit before shows @ 1st Ave. Beer's okay. A GREAT city. Also worth checking out is are the art museums. Both MIA and the Walker.

That's a touching story. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure there are 1000s just like it.

	Greatest animated avatar ever!

	God bless the fallen heroes.

I am very sad. Hoping it still might turn out to be a rumor churning around. As noted on the other thread, I did start my thread about ranking the Wilco members before any of this broke. Sorry if it offended and peace be w/ Jay, alive or otherwise.

				AllMusic, IMDB... what about books

Yes, "Amazon had deleted over 200 of my reviews." -
I imagine there's been a thread like this before, but the poll about O'Rourke/Sansone got me thinking... Use your own criteria. Here's mine: Jeff Tweedy Jay Bennett John Sirratt Glenn Kotche Nels Cline Jim O'Rourke Mikael Jorgenson Ken Coomer Leroy Bach Max Johnston Pat Sansone
 -
In that case, O'Rourke. I like Sansone's stage presence, and he's a great musician, but O'Rourke really helped shape their sound.

I usually trust Amazon customer reviews. -
I guess I didn't think Jim was ever considered an official member...

I may be up for this.

Cuddyer hits for the cycle and the Twins beat the Brewers. Remember, Selig wanted to contract this team. F*&$ Selig's team!

We could've used some of those runs in the Bronx.

disappointment - It's no longer streaming?? I can't find it anymore... Am I wrong? edit: never mind, I saw the other thread. -
	Thanks for sharing!

I have no intention to shield them once they're teenagers. I just hope I've imparted good taste...

Milk. Very good movie. Penn is amazing.

Letterman was a comedic god from the debut of Late Night through about 1998. He's really lost it, but still a million times better than Leno. O'Brien is okay. Not my taste. My late night viewing now belongs to Stewart/Colbert.

I'm not sure how I feel about taking my kids to Wilco. A festival show, maybe. Songs like "Handshake Drugs" and "Via Chicago" would really make me uncomfortable. That, and you drunken a-holes who turn out at every show. They're 4 now, not sure how old I'd want them to be. We have watched Austin City Limits (minus Handshake Drugs) and some other stuff and play their CDs frequently, but no concerts yet.
