Reminds me of that line in Toy Story - "That's not flying. It's falling... with style!"

Inspired by MB... this was/is good stuff.

True story: I was walking along the harbor in Hong Kong a couple years ago, and this "band" of Chinese guys had set up and was playing this very song out on the walkway. Actually, it was more of "Tell Raura I Ruv Her." It was one of the more bizarre, surreal moments of my lifetime.

I heard an Alan Parsons Project song on Sirius today. I hadn't thought about him in eons. I'd like to listen to Ammonia Avenue or Eve again.

"Regular schedule" sounds like a good thing...

Happy Birthday Guys!

This is one of the first "you always remember where you were..." moments of my life. After all, I'm at least 4 months older than Scott. Freshman year of college, finals week, and this rocked our world. I will never forget the cover of RS with the picture of John and Yoko after that. One of the most moving pictures I've ever seen.

^ Remember, it's always noon somewhere. Happy Birthday Scott!! Find a way to stay warm up there. Feel free to be creative.

So which part of that whole "Declaration of Independence" thing didn't you understand? You know, life, liberty, pursuit of crappy grammar? All that rot? The US of A, baby. That is where Wilco is recording the new record. And I mean it.

So why is that people who speak English with funny accents (as in Aussies and Brits) insist on treating singular nouns referring to multiple people (as in "Wilco" or a company name like "GM" or "the government") as plural? I have never understood that ... do tell.

Yeah, it was a good game. Nice to see some offense, but our signature defense (go figure) was a bit awol. Probly a lot of SEC teams hoping to see UGA drop one. Maybe we can start firing on both cylinders in time for UT and shake that lingering demon. And snag a 3rd bowl game.. Good luck on Sat with Tebow. When he's on his game, he's pretty incredible.

Around 6 this morning ("new" time), the hot water line to the washer decided to burst & spray all over the place. This was not how I had planned to use my extra hour. The laundry area in the basement looked like a rain forest, and the steam set off the smoke detector. Quite a rousing morning. Makes me glad we have the laundry area in the basement... floor drains are a beautiful thing. All better now.
