  1. "Shake it Off" is in the top 10 for Madison right now. I love it! Good luck to the folks in Edmonton with your requests.
  2. Shitty bands earlier, fireworks afterward ... sounds like Summerfest! Well, except for the weather. And the setting. I'm glad it was fun - it must have been quite the experience to be part of this.
  3. Why doesn't that kind of thing happen in Madison?
  4. I mean, just to clarify, I didn't remove it from the internet. I don't think it would be tough to track down.
  5. Sorry about the moderator slacking. I hadn't looked at the link, and assumed it was something officially filmed from the MusiCares benefit. I removed it. Refer to u2roolz's post above for the official policy.
  6. I did have a laugh about "At Least That's What She Said." Huh-OHH! To answer your second question, originally Terrapin Ben specified a new song but it looks like he's edited that since. So, not sure. At any rate, Ben, thanks for your post! I hope they continue to include "Broken Arrow" in the rotation.
  7. My one open weekend in March! Well, (hopefully) not anymore. This is always a great time, and I look forward to hearing more details.
  8. I assume this is the documentary that showed on NZ TV last summer. What a cool event! I wish I were in Santa Barbara.
  9. I don't think they've played any song on more than one talk show.
  10. L.A Times: 2:35 p.m. Levon Helms' "Electric Dirt" wins best Americana album, besting titles from Bob Dylan and Wilco. The latter's "Wilco (The Album)" didn't really fit in this category, but that's a quirk of having 109 categories. Here's a fun fact: Wilco did not submit its title for album of the year contention.
  11. That's kind of funny, because I saw The Frames headlining at the Annex in Madison in ... 2003 maybe? And it was pretty crowded. The Annex is a small place - capacity maybe 150 or something - but I'd say there were at least 75-100 people there. Did they go through a popularity lull afterward?
  12. Tablets are actually extremely useful in hospital settings, for physicians doing patient charting especially and going from room to room. (Hospitals using a computerized system, that is, of course.) I reeeally don't think that's the market Apple is necessarily after with the iPad; I'm just saying.
  13. When someone new makes a post like that, it's usually not someone new.
  14. They were just biding their time for the ultimate win in the Via Chicago game circa 2004 in which people inserted the word "pants" into Wilco-related songs.
  15. Ten bucks indeed! Well, with fees, $12.50. Sheesh. I'm venturing down from (slightly thawed) WI for this one, but the under-21 issue would be problematic. I'm glad you'll get to see them next month, WaronWar.
  16. They're also at the Hideout on Sunday!
  17. Voted. I stayed a week at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Oahu for work in 2008. Recommended!
  18. Great, I'm number 182. Sometimes it's bad to live in Madison.
  19. Secret show on April Fool's Day?
  20. For what it's worth, I just checked out StubHub for the Madison show next month. The venue manager told those of us who waited in line for tickets on the day of the sale that they had no front row tickets available - 8 of them were sold in the band's presale, and the other 9 were being held back so the band could take people from the back of the venue and send them up front. (I've seen this done at some other shows, and it's pretty cool.) On StubHub right now, there are 4 tickets available in the front row for $393 each. Which means that of the 8 Row AA tickets sold in the band's presale,
