I saw the new Jay Z video last night as well. I just don't get why he is considered one of the best. I get more entertainment from Ghostface Killah or even Lil Wayne. Then again I'm not going to pretend I have immersed myself in rap music over the years.

How you remind me by Nickelback. Man I hated that song.

What the Brits bought in the past decade......

Interesting idea: If enough people who have money in one of the big four banks move it into smaller, more local, more traditional community banks, then collectively we, the people, will have taken a big step toward re-rigging the financial system so it becomes again the productive, stable engine for growth it's meant to be. It's neither Left nor Right -- it's populism at its best. Move your money -
I have never been disappointed with Fulltone stuff. I use the Fulldrive 2 for just about everything.

I went to another record store closing yesterday and it's no wonder they are going out of business. It's one of those chain mall stores (F.Y.E.) and they were selling all the CD's for 50% off which put most of them at around $9 to $10. That's half off?

And hear I thought I was being so tasteful and elegant. Beatles are a decent little band. I have actually bought about 25 CD's since this picture was taken. All that open space is calling to me.

Got my CD holder all set up. Guess I don't have as many CD's as I thought. Plenty of room to grow.

I love everything off the Steppin out with the Grateful dead album (1972). I would go with "Wharf Rat", "Brokedown Palace", "Cold Rain and Snow", and Jack Straw.

I'm thinking about selling both of these but not sure I will get enough to make it worthwhile. An 85 G&L Rampage and a Vacarro Generator X w/bigsby. The G&L screams but I get too frustrated working with the Kahler Tremolo. The other one sounds just like a Strat which I already have.

^ That belongs in the musical blasphemy thread!

Danke Klaus! I very highly enjoyed that, it is now quite stuck in my head. I'm hearing mixed reviews so far but I think I will give it a shot. Is it something you can actually figure out by just reading the directions or do you have to find someone that knows how to play it?

I forgot about that, he must have made some contacts and fans while he was there.

I just read an article about how this game revolutionized the board game industry and has caused an increase in board game sales, how CEO's are playing it, etc... I have actually never heard of it but I am thinking about giving it a shot. Anybody ever tried it?

I just don't understand how someone like Leiberman continues to get elected. Talk about a guy who will do anything to keep his job at the expense of everything else. Complete corporate toady. I just don't get it. -
That Iommi shot is at the top of my list, I will cast my vote.

Just finished this one. What a fantastic book. Very highly recommended.

Yep, I am loving this album. I had to get it on amazon as I could not find it at any of the local stores. Listened to it 3 times today in fact.

I have never had any luck with a guitar under $100. Even if you are lucky enough that they play well, the intonation and constant going out of tune is a deal breaker. Then again if you just want to sing some off key Woody Guthry around the campfire then it's probably fine.

No way. Some of their lyrics are great. Red Barchetta reads like a good science fiction story.
