  1. they are playing TD Garden on new year's eve.
  2. ok, start voting http://wilcoworld.net/#!/photo-contest-poll/
  3. thanks everyone. unfortunately, Hartford isn't in my plans. edit - also, you can find higher res photos on my site, and I'll probably add a few to this gallery as well over the next couple of days. http://photos.tinnitus-photography.com/p576323728
  4. photos of the show: http://www.prefixmag.com/photos/wilco-blitzen-trapper-and-megafaun-fort-adams-stat/#photo-1
  5. Very solid show. I loved the rework of some of the endings. Good to see they revisit and work out new stuff. Sansone even threw in a handful or two of grit and noise in his hoodoo voodoo duel with Nels. That was super fun. WTF is with the beer tent being a quarter mile away and making you drink from there?
  6. i'm driving down w/ the wife. original plan was for the kids to come too (my youngest has been loving "Heavy Metal Drummer" a lot and wanted to go) but they decided for two more weeks at camp.
  7. for the first song on this last record ("Throw It To The Universe") they are pretty self-referential and even rip off the guitar riff to "Mantra Slider," the first song on their first LP. classic!
  8. between this show and Neil/Crazy Horse, I'm glad that i don't buy 99% of my concert tickets...
  9. nerds are ok. but these are a special brand of nerds. http://www.prefixmag.com/photos/hot-chip-the-chromatics-house-of-blues-boston-pics/#photo-1 http://photos.tinnitus-photography.com/p293950376
  10. that's a good question. unfortunately, this sort of rights grab is becoming more prevalent with some bands. i've never seen festival owners do this, though I did hear that Coachella pulled this shit this year too.
  11. just back from Refused and OFF! good show.
  12. i know that 99.99% of you won't give a shit, but Gathering Of The Vibes really sucks from a photographer's perspective:
  13. Shrinebuilder is good but hasn't quite lived up to the potential yet. Dukes are great, totally agreed. the New Multitudes was a big success i'd say.
  14. IN. Quadrophenia >>>>>>>>>>> The Wall
  15. i shot them last night and can say that i am definitely not a fan. bunch of nerds behind keyboards. even far nerdier than Kraftwerk
  16. at first i was thinking "Dean Ween really changed his look"
  17. i submitted my shot yesterday. it was a fun little project.
  18. i was there too. i missed the Q&A as my wife wanted to get back home so she could pack for her trip she was leaving for this AM. did anyone ask Garcia why Rhodes or Simonon weren't interviewed? it would have been good to get their perspective. Also - damn., Ian Dury had an exceptionally ugly band.
