The new one does sound like the Smile/Sound of Lies era. No surprise, I guess, since the lineup is similar. I am a fan of both creative incarnations of the band - Louris/Olsen and just Louris. Hollywood Town Hall is my favorite of theirs, but I really like Sound of Lies and Smile, too. Sound of Lies might be my second favorite album of theirs. I love "Trouble", and the run of "Sixteen Down", "Haywire", and "Dying on the Vine" is stellar. I am hooked on this new one as well. And I love the cover art.
