  1. I've heard phentermine increases your post count size
  2. Count me in the camp of the confused as well
  3. Just gonna warn you that people with low post-counts looking for feedback on their music haven't been all that well received in the past: http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?showtopic=26777 If you post around here some more and then put this up again I'm sure you'll get pretty good reception and a wealth of comments...you also might want to finish typing out your web-address Best of luck.
  4. Ice cream is definitely my favorite food on the planet. No doubt I will be trying this soon.
  5. Happy birthday you spelling/grammar behemoth of the VC
  6. Tortoise is phenomenal. I actually started with Standards, but TNT I think is probably the place to start if not the latest box set.
  7. My favorite? Yankee Hotel Foxtrot for sure. No album has struck me the way it has, and I doubt that I can be hit in the same way by a piece of music. It's complex, challenging, beautiful, and so carefully constructed that it just continues to unfold with every listen.
  8. I got an invitation from an uncle of mine to go to this with his family, I will definitely have to take up the offer! Looking forward to especially: Wilco and Tortoise. The rest of the lineup looks like a mix of stuff, but it should be cool anyway.
  9. Hmm, I mean, for that price difference I would be inclined to go for the CC2, but I don't know how well those Vox stock speakers hold up. I'd look around at that stuff first. You could always spring for some wheels on the bottom of the CC2 to make it a little more bearable, but I'm pretty sure that it would give you more clarity/sound projection in a band setting. However, I use a single speaker fender and haven't had much trouble with it in live settings, so the CC1 might still be your best bet...both in terms of weight and speaker quality/life (Celestions are pretty solid speakers).
  10. I don't know what prices are like over there, but here the CC1 and CC2's have a bigger price difference, like about $300-900 depending on which speakers you have in the CC2. I'd assume there's something behind that. The only noticeable difference in terms of features is that the 1 speaker comes with a Celestion Neodynium Neo Dog Speaker, I don't know how that is, but the 2 speaker comes with either Vox GSH 12-30 Speakers or Celestion AlNiCo "Blue" Speakers. That being said, I'm not an expert about amps at all, but I would say unless you are planning on doing some more serious gigging I wo
  11. Yo La Tengo "Moby Octopad" R.E.M. "Crush With Eyeliner" Wilco "I'm the Man Who Loves You" Beck "Sexx Laws"
  12. You know there are ways to get rid of too many guitars ...course my thinking is you can never have too many guitars Nice collection!
  13. I've got: Blue Fender Strat (Mexico) Ovation 12-string Ovation classical Antares (generic acoustic) I'm hoping to pick up a Jazzmaster over the summer
  14. There will be much cranked rock in your honor!
  15. From the P-Forkster: Count me as excited for this one. I missed the announcement that these guys were recording again before, so this was a pleasant surprise to find. This year is definitely just full of releases that I have high hopes for.
  16. I don't have one...yet. But I'm planning on getting one sooner or later. I've played a couple, and it's definitely tons of fun...and dangerous. The best was watching a friend of mine sweat profusely while getting totally into boxing, he had people wiping his brow by the end
  17. Side/belly compromise, though sometimes just the side. I can't sleep on my back or belly.
