I might hit Lincoln. Has anyone been to the venue. Is it all GA? Looks to be one big lawn with 5,000 capacity, but I don't know if they have sections for some shows.

Nobody, but Jeff played A Shot in the Arm.

I think it was the first full fledged show since early 2000 without a song from Yankee in the setlist.

What was the best "non-Wilco" set at Solid Sound?

Deep Sea Diver was my favorite. I wasn't disappointed by anybody though. -

Exactly my feelings on all three. Kurt will be a great dinner break for my wife and I. -
I'm going. I'm Jeff. 3rd Solid Sound. I go every other Solid Sound. Last time on a golden ticket (profile pic).

I saw them a couple times...once opening the famous last Jay show Wilco show...they were always good. Better than the one hit wonder as they get remembered for.

Wilco — 11 June 2017, Louisville, KY (Iroquois Amphitheater)
nalafej replied to bböp's topic in After The Show
The prior posts hit the nail on the head. It was a solid show at a great, smaller, outdoor venue. My 69th Wilco show now across 32 US states. If I lived in the area I would definitely check out a lot of shows there. Only drawback is/was the terrible beer selection. When there are only choices, High Life, Coors Light and Coors banquet should not all be offered. But...my friend and I were there for the music and Wilco delivered. They pretty much loosened up around the time Jeff thanked the crowd for hanging in there. I hadn't looked at setlists on this leg of the tour yet and was surprised wh -

Anxiously awaiting the schedule!! I wonder when they will release it??

Yeah! Flash back to 10 years ago. He's a funny guy.

Section 1 Row D (4th row Nels side). I bought a single and won't be using it. Let me know if you want it.

Is it time to start the campaign for them to invite Ken and Max (and Jessy, Greg, Bob, Jerry, Gary, Larry and Dan) to sit in on a song or two?

Welcome to the que. I'm in it too at # 242! The que isn't moving up too fast...

I bet we see a little more Being There than normal in the set at June shows leading up to Solid Sound if it wins the vote on Monday. That could be fun. I also wonder what stage set they will have at these shows. I don't think we've seen the foliage set outdoors yet...

Oh man. Wish you were coming this year. Would have been good to catch up.

So the Steven Hyden "interview" was great because Steve just took over and started telling stories. That intro was really painful to hear. I can't figure out why he does an intro and then repeats everything throughout the interview. And why does he say the word "band" so much. I guess I should post this in a Steven Hyden thread...

Thanks for the tip. I'll give that a listen. I love Steve Hyden's writing. The podcast is really sloppy. I kinda decided to bail on it even though I love the subjects. I'll check back in for this one.
