They won't be on the same stage though, right? Could be a good thing...

The Minus 5 Alejandro Escovedo

The second to last episode with the narration was odd but cool. The last episode seemed to go on forever with closing everything out and was a bit slow in pace compared to all the other episodes. So...not my favorite of the 10 episodes, but way better than your average tv show for sure. Hoping for a great season 3 soon.

I figured we had a Jeff Tweedy, Producer thread.. John produced and played on an album of Tom Irwin. I think the Autumn Defense's drummer played on it too? kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tomirwin/all-that-love-songs-by-tom-irwin-produced-by-john

Binging on Fargo lately. Can't decide if season 1 is better than season 2 or not. Of course, I have 3 more episodes to go...

Reckless does still have the downtown location - and it's in the Loop. It is much much smaller than the other two locations though. -
It will be on facebook live. I think this is a link that will work: https://cdn.crowdrise.com/Love-a-Thon?utm_source=crm&utm_content=WatchNowButton

What are your Plans for Inauguration Day?

Funny but how many people don't know who the president is and care enough to ask? ha -
Site seems to be down permanently. Maybe it is time for a moderator to unpin this post?

Without looking, how many Wilco album cuts can you name? (don't count mermaid ave/bsides/hidden tracks/compilations) It took me about 20 minutes and I came up with 81 out of 126. A Solid D. Ouch. I did the worst on Whole Love (only 4 of 12!) and Schmilco and the best on Star Wars and YHF where I only missed one song on those.

For the life of me couldn't hear his guitar in the mix on the first song. Amazing performances though. I'd like to see him live...

they do that combo tour a lot. always a good time and obviously economical, but how many fans actually like both bands?

Indeed. A new On Fillmore album comes out in March! http://northernspyrecords.com/music/happiness-of-living/

I think you are thinking of Let's Not Get Carried Away which has the drum solo

I too had no idea and I've been loving that album. Especially Dust which has Jeff on guitar.

and Sunday with On Filmore.

Jeff produced and played on the upcoming Joan Shelly release. She opened for Wilco out West last year and is doing more dates with them this year. Seems like she's a lock for Solid Sound. Article in Brooklyn Vegan: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/joan-shelley-preps-jeff-tweedy-produced-lp-touring-with-wilco-richard-thompson-more/ Jeff's producer credits keep coming. Do we have a good running list of what he's worked on? What is his best work in this regard? Here is what I tracked down: You Are Not Alone - Mavis Staples 2010 Traphouse Rock - Kids These Days 2012 The Invisible Way - Low 201

Glenn performs I Am Trying to Break Your Heart from The Loft in this youtube video posted yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3paspn2oYw Thought it was cool enough to post here...

Wow - that was great. A must watch.

I'm trying to think of a single justification for this and coming up short. Anybody want to take a crack at it?

I concur on Fleabag. Great show. Wish there were more than 6 episodes!

I found out that The Minus 5 are opening or Alejandro Escovedo on the upcoming tour. Not such a big surprise since Scott produced AE's latest album, but I'm excited to see TM5 back in the live setting playing those songs. I got tickets for one of the Chicago shows...

I went to see Gimme Danger over the weekend. This is the documentary on Iggy and the Stooges. I would recommend to rock n' roll fans. The movie just focuses on that band. There is really no coverage on anybody's post Stooges career or their personal lives.
